War is a love interest in the book Heaven's Secret 2.
About War
War is one of The Horsemen of the Apocalypse and claims he has no equal in combat. He wears a mask of calm and cold-blooded, and his eyes burn with joy and enthusiasm during battle. War wants to fill the world with wars and fire, and acts according to his own desires and motives. That's why, upon arriving at the Angels and Demons Academy, he demonstrates that isn't very happy with the work of his sister Plague. He thinks that she focused too much on the personal suffering of immortals and mortals; he thinks they need to act more decisively.
He looks incredibly strong physically, and at the same time, he has unshakable power emanated from within. He feeds on hatred, and it makes him stronger. But War comes across as having a kind of childlike simplicity, and his low voice and smooth manner manage to be both frightening and seductive: “War can be brutal and cold, but there’s a lot of fire inside him and a longing for calmness.” (MC in S1, Ep7)
The Horseman of War can direct people's anger towards each other just being near them. When he touches the mortals, they reveal all the darkness hidden within them. He longs for his seed of hatred planted on Earth to sprout so that all immortals can admire the result. War dreams of seeing the fruits of his labor; he has been waiting for this for a long time.
He can also throw people into a maelstrom of eagerness, making them proud of feeling hate. But if you choose in S1, Ep8 to play along with him, you discover that War doesn’t look pleased with this. He confesses to the MC that it exhausts him. Something inside him delights in the prospect of carnage, and he feeds on it and enjoy it; but in the end, he feels devastation: “So the Horseman has become hostage to his own power.” (MC in S1, Ep8)
His sister Plague reveals to the MC that each of the Horsemen brings death and takes strength from other immortals, and that War sows hatred and feeds on it. But hatred cannot coexist with love, so the way to kill War is to teach him to love: “If he loves you, you can kill him”. It is up to the player to put it into practice or not, and the reasons behind that too (deceiving War to destroy him for the Order of Resistance and/or love interest in the character).
If you take his diamond scene in S1, Ep9 War says he knows what the MC is doing and asks if she thinks she can succeed. He confesses that Plague is toying them as usual, that she knows how lonely it is to be one of the Horsemen, and that she only sent the MC to him because she knew that he couldn't kill her if she pissed him off.
If you have a close relationship with him you can decide to kill him or not in the season 1 finale. The decision is yours, there is no right or wrong, it's whatever you think is best for your game. But if you have a love interest in him, you will have to spare him. Note: Improving the relationship with War in Season 1 does not impact the relationship with the other love interests. So, if you prefer to unlock his path platonically for plot reasons, you just need to get all his free prompts and the diamond choice from S1, Ep9. Then you will be able to decide War's fate at the end of the first season.
If you choose War as your endgame love interest, in a diamond choice from S3, Ep6 the MC and he spend a family time with Rebecca and Winchesto. War, who has a powerful force within him capable of destroying half the planet, has no idea how to behave in front of them. And he confesses this about his relationship with the MC: "At first, MC wanted to make me fall in love with her to kill me. And out of boredom and carelessness, I allowed her to try. But she succeeded. Only, she didn't kill me... and I fell in love without even realizing it. You ask how I can allow this? I don't know. I don't want to. I didn't expect it to go this far."
Relationships
- Vicky Walker (MC): She is a possible love interest. Vicky is attracted by the power emanating from him, as well as everyone around him. At first, War doesn't even notice her existence. But if the player chooses to spend time with him, he begins to open up to the MC.
- Plague: His younger sister. War calls her "little sister". Plague seems to hate her brother and thinks he doesn’t understand that he’s feared and not admired by the other immortals. She gets jealous because they pay more attentionn to him than her after his arrival. But if you get close to War, you discover that the siblings actually love each other. War thinks Plague is fun and is fonder of her than their other brothers.
- Hunger: His brother. Hunger despises him for his stupidity. He thinks War is Mother's failed attempt at making a great warrior, as he turned out to be a naive fool who suffers from his own power.
- Dee: She is an attractive young woman devoid of skin, an empty shell of Mother of Life. War who gave her that name. Dee is waiting for him at the Horsemen’s home. She has become attached to War after their walks along the river.

Trivia
- His eyes burn with fire when he's angry.
- He has several scars on his body, probably the result of his battles.
- You can see his second form first if you buy a diamond choice in S1, Ep6 (“Seeing it with our own eyes”). In this form, every inch of his body is covered with armor, and his face changes as he loses the last features that make him look human.
- You notice during the ball in S1, Ep7 that the Horsemen can affect each other as much as they can affect the other immortals and mortals.
- In S1, Ep7 you can ask him to tell you something about himself. He says there is a river of blood in his world and that he loved sitting on its bank.
- If you choose to walk with him at the end of S1, Ep7 you find out that he has no desire to starting a family; for the Horsemen there is no such thing, they don’t have any need for it.
- If you buy a diamond choice to kiss him in S1, Ep8 you discover that War slept with women from MC’s world and his own, and that are four people like him and Plague in their world - the rest don’t have any powers, but they don’t age, and they live forever.
- His regenerations is hundreds of times faster than any immortal.
- Horsemen don't get sick.

Possible endings

Season 1, Episode 10:
- If you have a close relationship with War, you can choose to kill him or not.
Season 3, Episode 8:
- If War is your ❤️ love interest and you...
- have a strong enough relationship: He marries you.
- don't have a strong enough relationship: He accompanies you to Rebecca and Winchesto's wedding as your date.
Season 3, Episode 9
- If War is your ❤️ love interest: He fights the Mother and his brothers out of love for you and because he thinks it's the right thing to do. And if you chose "Decorated with blood roses" as the wedding venue in the previous episode, he survives anyway since the roses on Amor Island saved him from your love. If you didn't choose that location, the love he feels for you makes his heart weaken during the battle, and depending on your path:
- Path of Strength 💪: You press your hands to his chest and energy spikes erupt from your palms, enveloping his heart and making it stronger and able to fight the love poison. Your strength blocks the weakness that love brought upon War and thus he won’t die.
- Path of Insufficient Strength 💪: As you don't have enough strength to save him, the love ends up killing him during the battle. And then you become the owner of the Horseman's sword.
- If he is not your love interest, but you have a good relationship with him: He fights Malbonte but you persuade him to stop it. And later Hunger will convince him to help you. He survives anyway.
- If you don't have a good relationship with him: War fights Malbonte, and when he is almost losing his strength because of the hatred that increases in him, Dino, Lucifer, and Astaroth arrive to keep Malbonte away from War. The three fight valiantly against War, with you helping to suppress his forces. However, War is stronger and when he is almost killing Lucifer, Lilith appears on the battlefield to protect her son. They fight a little, and even without meaning to, War ends up killing Lilith. Lucifer goes mad, and taking the form of his second hypostasis he tears War into pieces. Lucifer then becomes the owner of the sword of the Horseman of the Apocalypse.
- At the end of the episode, if he is alive, the portal takes him and Hunger to the Death Valley. If you're on his ❤️ romance path, you're also with him: (CG unlocked) (Note: If War was your love interest and he died in this episode, you'll be in the Death Valley only with Hunger and you won't see any CG.)
