Main Character
Nova
(Main Character You Play As)The Main Character (MC) of W: Time Catcher is called Nova, but the player can change her first name and appearance at the beginning of the book. The MC is an uninitiated witch who lived in the shadows but finds her way into the magical community after being caught stealing by the Magisterium of Preternatural Affairs.

Shen Zheng
Shen is a warlock that Nova meets for the first time in the Magisterium's cell. Initally, a man of few words. He is working with Vesper.

Onyx is an animamorph who can turn into a cat. They are playful and teasing towards Nova since the beginning. They work for Vesper.

Vesper is a prominent figure in the Others society. Goal-oriented and ambitious, the witch leads a double life as both Other and Ordinary. She founded a Nest, a big shelter for Others.

Tallis is an animamorph. He is also Onyx' friend whom they helped when he was trapped by Magisterium. An unknown curse was cast at him. He can be romanced only in a polyamorous relationship with Onyx.

Petar Grigorov
Petar is a Bulgarian man working for Magisterium, an Archvenator. He saw Nova and Shen running away from prison. He seems to hate the Church as much as Marked ones. Petar won't stop until he captures Nova.
Chidiogo "Dee Dee"
Dee is of the Igbo, she is a good-hearted witch who leads her own small Shelter, where Nova spent a night after running away from Magisterium with Onyx.
the Curator
Curator resides in the Archives. They encouraged Nova learn about the past and face the truth. They guided her to a path of self-discovery and understanding.
Scamarcio
Servator Scamarcio is a Magisterium enforcer who interrupted Nova's Initiation.
Praevius
Praevius is an Other, who uses the Conduit to ignite the full Potential of another's Other Presence during the Initiation.
Nurlan
Nurlan is a warlock who runs a shelter for animals with Presence. He can do a bonding ritual between a familiar and fideliar (an Other bound to familiar).
Cashier
A cashier from a Cafe who recognized Nova as a wanted criminal witch.
Maya
Maya is an Ordinary daughter of a Witch and a Human. Her parents run a shelter for Others outside of Rome, which she will inherit.
Bea
Bea is an Other pretending to be an Ordinary to work for Vesper - as her driver.
Constantino Carbone
Constantino is a patriarch of Lucien's clan. He assumed the position after his wife and previous patriarch, Vincenza, died.
Guusje de Boer
Guusje was previously involved in looking for Portrait of a Young Man and later in life became a recluse.
Herbert Piaget
Herbert is an old friend of Constatntino who held the Genevan black market art auction at his house.
Auctioner
Leading Auctioner of the thirty-eighth annual meeting of the Society of Art Connoisseurs held at Piaget's house.
Ss'tsar
A dangerous polymorph.
Cardinal Barone
Riccardo Barone is an important figure in Vatican who set up the first meeting of Renato and Nova.
Alaina
Alaina is an herbalist who treated Nova. She is a half-witch, half-vampire who belonged to Constantino's clan in the past.
Zoryana
Zoryana is a young Ukrainin witch under Lucia's guidance.
Nazima
Nazima is an old friend of Vesper with whom she grew up. She was Lucia's apprentice.
Lucia
Lucia was Vesper and Nazima's mentor, currently she is teaching Zoryana.
Emiliano
Emiliano is a time catcher who lived in the 18th century.
Idris
Idris is a Praevius who fought in the War of the Great Cleansing Fire and was one of the Others who struck a deal with the Church for peace.
Rhydian
Rhydian is one of the most powerful warlocks in Rome. He was Shen's mentor for a short time.
Yulan Zheng
Yulan is Shen's sister who died during the events of the Black September in 1988.
Matteo
Matteo is Shen's best friend who died during the events of the Black September in 1988.
Werner
Werner is an herbalist, an associate of Vesper who runs his own establishment which works as both shelter and hospital for Others.
Savita
Savita is an Indian witch living in Paris, who specializes in astrology. She lives with her sister, Kangana.
Kangana
Kangana is an Indian Ordinary living in Paris with her sister, Savita.
Agnès
Agnès is a matriach of a vampire clan in Paris and Lucien's ex-wife.
Radu
Radu is a member of Agnès' clan. A scientist who specializes in magical artifacts.
