Ullr is a love interest in the book Path of the Valkyrie.
About Ullr[]
Ullr is a god associated with archery, and master of paths and roads. He is the son of Sif and the stepson of her husband, Thor. He lives in Ýdalir, a location containing a dwelling which he grew himself, with a lot of yew to make bows out of.
Ullr's mother Sif never told him who his father was. She also didn't disclose the reasons for her silence. This angered Ullr beyond all bearing, especially since his relationship with Thor was getting worse and worse. After another quarrel, he went to search for his roots. A seeress didn't give him an answer, and then Ullr tried to find it in Sif’s life. His search was long and hard. Relying on his fragmentary knowledge and pieces of information gained from conversations with all kinds of creatures, he got to Midgard. There, on a remote peninsula, was a legend about a great archer who died fighting a hundred people at once, and he was stronger than anyone else. [1]
When Ullr's step-sister Thrud ran off with her boyfriend Thorri, their mother Sif was worried sick. Ullr helped to track them down and brought a letter back to his mother. However, because of this letter, Thrud's father Thor was able to track Thrud and Thorri, which led to a confrontation where the couple died. Despite Thor swearing that it was an accident, the loss and guilt Ullr suffers from has created a huge distance between them.
After meeting Liv, Ullr agrees to help find Mimir, the God of Wisdom. He admits that he also has his own question to ask. Later, he reveals that the answers he wanted to seek at first was how an Alaisiaga, an arachnid creature, got to Ydalir. As the story progresses, he realizes that in truth he wants to ask Mimir if he was the one to blame for his sister's death.
Ullr is a caring and reasonable person. Because of his peaceful nature, he often becomes the person who defused the tension of the group. Apart from his archery skill, he also holds physical strength and fighting skill.

- Liod: Old friend. Because Ullr feels guilty for Thrud and Thorri's death who were close to Liod, he doesn't know how to face Liod again at first.

- Thor: Step-father. Ullr admits that being the step-son of Thor is difficult and tries to keep their distance.
