Theodora Avery

The main character you play as, moves between different timelines as she is immortal: she is a journalist and so far we have seen her in 2019 and 1914.

Lawrence Barkley

Lawrence is a successful frontline journalist. You have read all of his articles and are a big fan of his work.

Yoke Van der Lusse

You meet Yoke in Brussels, when you help her get out of the city. She lives in the Belgian town of Himworde with her son, Bruno, born from a past love affair, and a father, Jan.

John Roberts

John is a British doctor who was travelling around Europe with his childhood friend Thomas Haines. When he arrived in Himworde and realised the town was left without a doctor, he took charge of the local hospital. He also goes to play the piano at the local tavern.

Friedrich Blumhagen

You meet Friedrich in Himworde, where he is stationed as a German soldier. He is part of the Landsturm - a reserve force; militia or military units composed of troops of inferior quality.

Albert Neumann

Albert Neumann is an Oberleutnant in the German army.

Thomas Haines

Thomas is John's childhood friend and travel companion around Europe. Coming from a family of bankers, he remained in Himworde to keep company to his friend.

Bruno Van der Lusse

Bruno is Yoke's five years old son.

Jan Van der Lusse

Jan is a shoemaker and Yoke's father.

Peter De Reute

Peter owns a tavern in Himworde.

Madame Wauters

Madame Wauters owns a guesthouse and gives bedrooms to you, Lawrence and Thomas Haines.

Mr. Kraus

Mr. Kraus is the Chief Editor of "Housewife's Secrets", the women's magazine you work for in 1914. Depending on your choices, you can have a good or bad relationship with him, and he might pick you to be a frontline correspondent for the magazine, or he might pick your colleague, forcing you to go to the front as an independent journalist.

Norman Hope

Norman Hope is your colleague at "Housewife's Secrets", the women's magazine you work for in 1914. You shared a night of passion but the morning after he revealed that he's actually married. Depending on your choices, you can have a good or bad relationship with him, and he might refuse to accept a job as a frontline correspondent for the magazine, or he might accept, forcing you to go to the front as an independent journalist.

Ronald Crowe

Mr. Crowe is a journalist and an acquaintance of Lawrence Barkley. You meet him in Belgium and he doubts your credentials as journalist because you're a woman.

Christian Gossens

Dr. Gossens is Bruno's father and Yoke's ex lover. A married man, he had affairs with multiple nurses unbeknownst to Yoke.

William Avery

William Avery is Theodora's father. We meet him in S1, Ep7 during a flashback to 1909.

Amanda Avery

Amanda Avery is Theodora's mother. We meet her in S1, Ep7 during a flashback to 1909.

George Avery

George "Georgie" Avery is Theodora's twin brother. He's the favorite in the family and was sent to study law at Harvard. We meet him in S1, Ep7 during a flashback to 1909.

Otto Blumhagen

Otto Blumhagen is Friedrich's father. An abusive and violent man, he used to lock Friedrich in a dark attic as a child, as punishment for what he felt were the child's shortcomings. This caused Friedrich to start stuttering.

1963[]

Antonio Giustini

You met Antonio in a strip club. He tells you his father used to own that establishment and it was a jazz bar, but lost it all during World War 2 as he was Jewish. He has been trying to buy the venue to restore it back to its former glory but the current owner dislikes him and refuses to sell. He is a member at the exclusive Madame Rosetta's House so he gets you an invitation.

Charlotte

Charlotte is one of the burlesque performers at the Madame Rosetta's House. She was chosen to open the show at the House for the first time at the same night you were invited. She had Madame Rosetta's approval to perform an entirely new number despite it being a risky move, but it paid off: she was loved by the audience.

Blaine Raeburn

Blaine is an eccentric Scottish fashion designer and a dressmaker who works at Madame Rosetta's House. He's rather reserved, doesn't like crowds and rarely leaves the House, where he also lives in a room attached to his workshop. According to Claudia, half of the House is pining for him.

Julian is a new pianist at Madame Rosetta's House. He was hired shortly after you joined the team. You think he may have a connection to supernatural powers/beings, which you sensed as soon as he entered the room you were in.

Madame Rosetta

Madame Rosetta is the owner of an exclusive burlesque establishment, Madame Rosetta's House. Originally she comes from the USA, but she has lived in Italy for almost 20 years. She is a strict leader, who isn't very generous when it comes praising her empolyees. She used to be a burlesque performer, but she doesn't perform anymore. Instead, she uses her experience to guide and teach her performers. She's very devoted to her business, placing it above social relationships.

Raul Fasetti

Raul Fasetti is a character you meet when you visit Madame Rosetta's House for the first time, where he watches the shows from time to time. He's an old friend of Antonio. Later, you learn he knows Madame Rosetta personally and they did business together.

Sofia

Sofia is one of the burlesque perfomers at Madame Rosetta's house. She acts as Madame's second-in-command. They developed an intimate relationship after Rosetta helped her escape from an abusive ex and drug addiction.

Cassandra

She is a burlesque performer at Madame Rosetta's House. Her real name is Louise, but her stage name, Cassandra, is how everyone calls her.

Miss Fortuna

Miss Fortuna is one of the performers at Madame Rosetta's House. She dances and does magic tricks. Sometimes she's also fortune telling and some of her visions came true. She's a friend of Antonio, who helped her with getting a job in the House. Her real name is Chiara.

Claudia

Claudia is one of the waitresses at Madame Rosetta's House. She was tasked with training you.

Margherita Raguso

Margherita is a 34-year-old performer at Madame Rosetta's House. She can be arrogant or rude. She craves Madame's approval and is dejected when she cannot impress her. She's a daughter of a world-famous actress, Gianna Raguso

Signor Fortunato

Fortunato is the Chief Editor at the Quotidiano di Forramo. Depending on your choices, you might start working at this newspaper as reporter or not.

Donna

Donna is the receptionist at the Quotidiano di Forramo. She is not very friendly toward you.

Beatrice

Beatrice is a daughter of Miss Fortuna, who you meet at Fortuna's birthday party. She believes her mother is a real clairvoyant and is really excited about fortune telling.

Monsieur Lachance

Monsieur Lachance is a mysterious philanthropist and patron of the art. He doesn't accept any interview usually but accepted to speak to you, although he hides his real identity in a dark corner of his living room.
