This page lists the characters appearing in the book The One Volume 2, however very minor characters that have minimal bearing on the story may have been omitted from this list.
Main Character[]
Kiana

Kiana is a young woman working as a barista in Los Angeles, California. The story begins when she breaks up with her significant other and decides to scroll through the dating app Sparx while watching the season finale of the hit reality show The One. While in the app, she gets sent a survey with an invitation to be a contestant on the next season of The One. A few weeks later, she heads to the villa to start filming.
Most choices you make for this character influence one of the following variables: The Sweetheart 💗 (nice and compassionate, but won't get along with those who don't put love first), The Villain 😈 (will seek drama and will want to use it to her advantage whenever possible), The Flirt 🏹 (here for a good time - she wants to have fun and doesn't take things too seriously), and Charisma 🌟. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.

Ben/Bianca

Ben/Bianca is the star of the show "The One" and the person that the contestants, including Kiana, are trying to win the heart of. Depending on the player's choices at the beginning of the story, they can either be male or female.
Imani

Imani is one of the contestants on The One. Imani is confident, competitive and determined to win. If you choose to meet her in the waiting room, she will suggest asking about the pay. This is intentionally bad advice because Lisa is not please if you ask about pay during the interview.
Joel

Joel is a bit more reserved than some of the other candidates, but comes off as laidback and a bit of a flirt. Kiana has a chance to meet Joel if she chooses to sign for a delivery as a favor to her coworker. If you do, Joel will take shelter from the rain at the loading dock where she is waiting.
The Host

Very little is currently known about The Host. She is the host for the show "The One." No one knows her actual name. Based on her reaction when first meeting Kiana, she does not like being recognized by fans.
Bradley

Bradley is Ford's younger brother from The One Volume 1. He joins the show after another contestant decides to leave early. Kiana is immediately suspicious of him but his charming personality might break down her walls.
The One Contestants[]
Michelle
Michelle is one of the contestants on The One. She is from New York is not as familiar with the show as the other contestants. She applied because of the survey on the app and in her last relationship she was cheated on.
Daphne
Daphne is one of the contestants on The One. She was born in Texas and is working on launching her own lifestyle brand. Daphne makes it clear to the MC that she is not on the show to make friends, but to win Ben/Bianca's heart.
Ken
Ken is one of the contestants on The One. He immigrated from Indonesia in the early 90's, but currently lives in Arizona. He went to Arizona State and works in computer components sales.
Jared
Jared is one of the contestants on The One. He was jealous of the attention Daphne received from Ben/Bianca during the first meeting and they had an argument where he splashed water on her. He was also the first contestant to be eliminated.
The One Crew[]
Lisa Matthews
Lisa Matthews, who was also in The One Volume 1, is one of the executive producers on the show.
Evan Daniels
Evan Daniels, who was also in The One Volume 1, is the showrunner. If things start getting out of hand between the contestants, he steps in to defuse the situation. But that does not mean he isn't responsible for starting a little drama too when the occasion calls for it.
Dr. Shawn
Dr. Shawn is a psychiatrist and was the person who conducted the interviews for the possible contestants.
Assistant
The assistant is the person who helps around the sets, making sure that everything is in place and the cast is where they need to be.
Lorenzo
Lorenzo is the Head of Security for The One.
MC's Family/Friends[]
Jill
Jill is Kiana's manager at the coffee shop that she works at as a barista. Jill is also a fan of the show The One.
Mom
Mom of the Main Character. She is not thrilled about Kiana's choice to be on the show.
Other Characters[]
Paisley
Paisley is one of the people that Kiana can choose to talk to in the waiting room before her interview. Paisley admits she is there in her friend's place and that she has applied to appear on all different kinds of shows.
Amy Hong
Amy Hong is Ben/Bianca's oldest sister. She's doing a PhD in biochemistry. Ben/Bianca describes her as very smart and serious. Amy is engaged but has to wait until the eldest, Ben/Bianca, is married before she can get married.
Amy Hong
May Hong is Ben/Bianca's youngest sister. She was just accepted into dental school last year. Ben/Bianca describes her as very smart and serious.
Lewis Hong
Lewis Hong is Ben/Bianca's father. He is a stern man who takes superstition and tradition very seriously.
Jeannine Hong
Jeannine Hong is Ben/Bianca's mother. She is immediately warm and welcoming to Imani and MC when they meet. She has a lifelong interest in botany and the MC remarks that she is the definition of an open book.
Helen
Helen is the fortune teller that MC and Ben/Bianca ask to tell their fortune while out on a date together.
Photographer
The One's photographer.
Serene
Serene is a water engineer at the Wai Treatment Plant. Ben/Bianca's hotel gets its drinking water from this plant and Serene gives the cast a tour while they are in Hawaii.
Ingolf
Chef Ingolf is the hotel's pastry chef and Ben/Bianca hires them to do the wedding cake for their upcoming wedding. If MC gets chosen for the special date, she will get to pick out the cake.
