Stortia is a love interest in the book Gladiator Chronicles.

About Stortia[]

Stortia is the youngest daughter of a former tribal leader and, currently, a Gladiatrix that works for the Lanista Cassius Flavius at his gladiatorial school. Her and her fellow Gladiators, Gars, Graut, and Hotch are responsible for training the novice Gladiators.

When there are injuries at the school Stortia treats them. She also regulates and monitors the gladiator's implants.

In Season 1 Episode 7, it is revealed that she is also a spy for Cassius Flavius alongside Gars, Graut, and Hotch.

Stortia is described as dangerous and unpredictable but has occasionally shown that she is not as tough as she wants people to believe. Stortia is quick to protect her fellow gladiators and tends to put their safety before her own.

If you are not in a romantic relationship with Stortia, in Season 2, Episode 7 you can match-make her with Graut, another gladiator (💎34).

In Season 3, Episode 4, Rix discovers information on all of the people in their group. For Stortia, they describe her as: An experienced Flavian ludus fighter. In addition to her skillful use of a sword, she has advanced knowledge in the field of medicine. Has difficulty socializing, most likely due to past traumatic experiences.

According to her official RC Character card: Stortia was born on planet Ferit, a world covered with lush vegetation. Its harsh climate and hostile flora and fauna left their marks on its inhabitants. Instead of uniting, the tribes resolved their many disputes through brute force, capturing and conquering each other. Thanks to this, Ferit's inhabitants retain a cult not only of physical strength but also of valor, which is still sung of around massive campfires.^[1]
Does not like sleeping in the comfort of the barracks with the other gladiators.

Possible endings[]

If Rix does not defeat the Pontifex: it is implied she dies.
If Rix defeats the Pontifex:
- Romance path: Stortia wishes to return to Ferit and Rix goes with her, not wanting her to have to choose between the things she loves most. She tells Rix she wants them to have children together so she can teach them everything she knows.
- Graut romance path:
  - If he is alive, they go to Ferit, get married and have children with remarkable strength and agility.
  - If he is dead, she lays him to rest.
- Otherwise: She goes back to Ferit and finds peace. She never falls in love with anyone.
