Sophie Preston is the main character you play as in the book Sophie's Ten Wishes. Sophie is her default name, and you cannot change it.

At the beginning of the story, you can choose her appearance between four different ethnic features, ten hairstyles and four outfits (some cost diamonds 💎). As you progress in the game more hair and clothing options will be available for you - and sometimes makeup and accessories too.

Most choices you make for this character influence one of the following variables: you can choose if Sophie prefers being a Wallflower 🌼 or a Vixen 💄. Your choices are also affected by Reputation stat, indicated as Glory 💫. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.

About Sophie

Sophie is the daughter of two nuclear physicists and cannot believe how they managed to create the most awkward humanities person in the world. She graduated in Humanities and doesn't do well with numbers. She wants to work as a French language teacher but has been working as a departmental assistant for a year hoping that her boss gives her students to teach someday. She never leaves work on time and usually attends the book club at the University she works at, unless she has a ton of reports at her desk.

She is a naturally clumsy person who prefers to plan everything ahead. According to her brother, Parker Preston, Sophie is much more interesting than she wants to seem. For him, she is witty, well-read, sarcastic and skilled at talking about any subject; but somehow, keeps choosing the other side of her personality. Sophie is an anxious person and can only relax and be herself with her loved ones. Her quick-wittedness shows just among friends and family, but while interacting with others she puts on the “strict teacher act”. It depends on the player's choices how her personality develops during the story.

The story begins in the languages and literature department at University of Brooklyn^[1], where Sophie works as a university departmental assistant. She is 24 years old and is considered by everyone as someone who is always busy with work and has a boring life. But everything changes when she travels to Las Vegas with her twin brother and her best friend in Season 1, Episode 2.

Relationships

Love Interests:
- Benedict Reed: He is a professor at the University where Sophie works, and he seems to shows interest in her. But she has doubts whether Benedict is flirting with her or just being polite.
- Diego Torres: He is a dance instructor and makes it very clear that is interested in Sophie, asking her out whenever he has the opportunity. Even if she rejects him, Diego perseveres.
- Mitch Evans: He treats Sophie protectively, perhaps because he is a doctor. She admires Mitch a lot and is his patient pretty often, considering her natural clumsiness.
- Logan Price: He is her childhood friend. Logan always boosts her spirits, and he can be a love interest depending on the player's choices.
- Daisy Miller: She is interested in Sophie at first sight. But the fact that Daisy is the daughter of her boss can get in the way of their relationship.
- Blake: She shows an interest in Sophie as soon as they meet at a autumn fair. It depends on the player's choices to reciprocate it or not.

Casual Love Interests:
- Logan + Blake: Polyamory route, unlocked in Season 2, Episode 1. This romance path lasts until Episode 9.
- Haku: He is a guy who almost runs over Sophie and a stray dog (Frank) in Season 1, Episode 10. The player meets Haku again at a show in Season 2, Episode 7, and may unlock a steamy scene with him.

Relatives:
- Ellen Preston: Mother. Sophie says that her sarcasm and irony came from her mom.
- James Preston: Father. According to Sophie, James is a laconic fellow and she got that from him.
- Parker Preston: Twin brother, one minute older than her and he always likes to remind Sophie of that. They are two very different people and like to tease each other. But they love each other very much and are protective of each other as well.

Other Characters:
- Florence Adaline Cooper (Flo): She is her best friend. Sophie loves the person she becomes when Flo is around. As her parents live in Europe, she usually spends all the holidays with Sophie's family.
- Rose Miller: She is Sophie's boss and requires a lot from her, making Sophie work until exhaustion and not letting her rest or ask for help from others. Rose is Daisy's mother.
- Brandy: Mitch's female dog. Sophie takes care of her when Mitch is away for conferences, and she loves it. Brandy sees Sophie as family. Sophie thinks Brandy is the cutest Pitbull in the whole world. Mitch says that his dog is too spoiled with attention because of her. She affectionately calls this cute Pitbull Caramel.
- Grace Donovan: Friend and colleague. They met when Grace found Sophie crying in the bathroom.
- Frank: Dog abandoned in front Sophie's home, which she decides to adopt in Season 1, Episode 10. Read more about him below.

Frank the Dog

Sophie adopts a dog she saves from a car that almost hits it in Season 1, Episode 10. The dog has three different appearances you can choose from. During the story you can also choose a collar and outfits for him, some cost diamonds. The dog's name is Frank and cannot be changed. According to Sophie, he is named after Lyman Frank Baum, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" author. But her parents decided to name him Francis Bartholomew Preston, because he succeeded in trashing half the house and taking everything he could to Sophie's room. In Season 2, Episode 3 Frank meets Brandy (Mitch's dog) - when the CG image below is unlocked.

She has a special approach towards the students, and they love listening to her. (S2, Ep8)
In Season 2, Episode 9 you find out that Sophie is interested in the theme of teaching for the purpose of studying. She thinks they should pay less attention to the concept of a high grade as an achievement and focus on students' motivation. Her main goal would be awakening the interest in students and keeping their attention.
Sophie's earliest childhood memory is when Parker started talking and annoyed her for the rest of her life^[1].

Possible endings

Move to Prague to start a new life and fulfill your dream of working with Professor Kovač.

Note: To get the "good" ending (where Sophie will appear to be happier with her decision) you need to accumulate at least 30 points of Wallflower or Vixen until Season 2, Episode 13. In the Path of Wallflower 🌼 you will see a cutscene of your chosen ending, in the Path of Vixen 💄 you will see Sophie traveling to Machu Picchu - no matter what ending you chose.
