Song of the Crimson Nile is the 31st book released on the mobile game Romance Club. This book was released in April 2023. The author of this book is Aleksandra R., who also wrote Kali: Call of Darkness and the Season 1 of Kali: Flame of Samsara.

Most choices you make for your Main Character in this book influence one of the following variables: Honesty ⚖️ or Cunning 🐈, Necromancy 💀 or Oneiromancy 🌙, and Loyalty 🏵 or Chaos 🦅. You can also improve your Renown 📜. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.
An honest ⚖️ character is straightforward, self-confident, and at times sarcastic. A cunning 🐈 character is more calculating and tries to use everything to her advantage.
The Art of Necromancy 💀 will bring you closer to the afterlife, communicating with the dead. The Art of Oneiromancy 🌙 will help you solve problems by stepping into other people's dreams.
Egypt as it was in the past, when dark magic and priesthood were free, when the cults of all gods, including Set, were supported, and the nation remained isolated from others, is the path of Loyalty 🏵. Eva will remain true to her beliefs, will want to continue practicing dark magic, and is convinced that an independent Egypt is much stronger and more powerful than one that falls under foreign influence.
Egypt as it is now, with new laws, the cult of Horus, the ban on dark magic and on Set’s worship, is the path of Chaos 🦅. Eva will gradually renounce her past beliefs and begin to believe that dark magic must be controlled, and that Egypt should join forces with other countries.
Some choices increase your Renown 📜. High Renown allows you to enjoy respect and various privileges.

- Oneiromancy is the art of interacting with other people's dreams.
- Necromancy is the art of interacting with the dead.
- The Path of Honesty allows you to develop your oratorical skills: You will be able to persuade people to do what you want and will become a secret leader.
- The Path of Cunning allows you to develop your manipulative skills: You will be able to subtly control people to your advantage like a puppeteer.
- The situation in Egypt is changing rapidly, and Eva is at a crossroads. The Chaos and Loyalty stats will greatly affect her fate.
- The change of power in Egypt brings Chaos. This is not only the strict control of dark magic, but also of development and international trade.
- If you remain Loyal to the traditions of Egypt, it will strengthen the cult of magic and the old order, but make the country more isolated.

- You can try to matchmake some minor characters. They will tell you if they are interested in someone.

- Ancient Egypt is divided into two parts: Upper and Lower Egypt.
- Only recognized priests have the right to practice dark magic. For everyone else, it's illegal.
- There are very few dark magicians left, but there's huge competition between them.
- Hunters are pharaoh-approved squads of warriors who are specially trained to capture shesmu.
- Rumor has it that there are shesmu even in the pharaoh's closest circle. They have ears everywhere.
- Thebes is the capital of Upper Egypt, next to which is the main necropolis.
- The Judgment of the Dead is the moment when Osiris weighs the soul of the deceased and determines their fate in the afterlife.
- A dark magic mentor usually takes from two to five students.
- The afterlife is of great importance to ancient Egyptians. They are not afraid of death but revere it.
- Memphis is the capital of Lower Egypt and Egypt as a whole. The pharaoh and all the members of high society live there.
- A third of all shesmu die at the hands of their fellow dark magicians during conflicts and struggle for power.
- Thanks to her travel experience, Agnia speaks several languages. Greek is her mother tongue. She is called Agnia of Attica because that's where she comes from.
- The elders are highly experienced dark magicians who enjoy great authority in their circles.
- Elder dark magicians try to avoid teaching, but someone has to train the young shesmu, so being a mentor became a form of punishment.
- When a shesmu begins to study dark magic, their soul loses its warmth, which deprives them of the ability to dream.
- It's rare for a shesmu to be predisposed toward both branches of dark magic.
- It’s important for necromancers to remain calm. Heightened emotions can scare the ka away or prevent you from getting in touch with it.
- The warmth of a soul, its ka, allows oneiromancers to connect to it and step into people’s dreams.
- The hunters are representatives of the pharaoh’s power. When they hunt, they take on the role of the god Horus and wear an amulet in the shape of his missing left eye.
- Young dark magicians are punished by death. Their survival rate is very low: Many die within the first year after finishing their studies.
- The hunters came up with many methods of execution. "A shesmu’s last song" is their favorite.
- The endless expanses are a wild desert that stretches across the Egyptian lands. It starts outside the oases and cities and all roads run along it.
- It's common knowledge that there are no oneiromancers among the pharaoh's priests who have been given permission to practice dark magic. The ruler avoids them.
- "The ban on dark magic" is a royal decree that forbids the practice of necromancy and oneiromancy.
- "The edict against the servants of Set" is an addition to the royal decree that orders the persecution and execution of anyone who practices dark magic.
- Anubis' companion in the Duat is Aker, a two-headed lion and guardian of the dead.
- The dead must pass through seven halls to reach Amenti, the endpoint of the Duat.
- The red pigment on the petals of the moon turmeric contains poison. The flower can kill as well as heal.
- Amen and Livius can become friends under certain circumstances.
- Eva will never be the same after the trials in the Duat.
