Main Character and family
Sarah O'Neill

This is the character you play as in 1986. Her default name is Sarah but you can customize her name and appearance. You play the MC as a teenager in 1986 and as grown-up ten years later. The MC was born in Baltimore but moved to Saintfour with her mother and father in the summer of 1986. She has to finish her last years of high school in the small provincial town, which she doesn't like at all. But her father decided to move the family to a new house. The next day after moving to Saintfour she will attend Saintfour High School.
MC's Mother / Miss O'Neill
The main character's mother is who she moved with to Saintfour ten years ago. Although MC dislikes living in a small town, her mother insists that it's what is best for the family. Although her daughter leaves Saintfour, MC's mother still lives there after ten years.
MC's Father / Mr. O'Neill
The main character's father, it was his idea to move to Saintfour due to money problems he was having in Baltimore.
Love Interests
Luke Morring

The MC meets Luke the day before she goes to her new high school. He is a private person, often alone, but occasionally opens up. He cares a great deal for MC, often worried about her well-being.
Michael Turner

He is one of the most popular boys in the Saintfour High School. Bobby is his younger brother, he says his older brother teases him very often, but Michael claims to worry about him a lot. He plays in the high school football team.
Derek Nixon

Derek is childhood friends with Candy and Bobby. He is a brave, down-to-earth and straightforward guy, but he can be a bit insensitive sometimes. He still cares a great deal about his friends and will help them when needed.
Stephanie

She is a very caring, kind character and gives the MC lots of support and advice. She also likes to get silly and into trouble occasionally. However, if she doesn't like something, she will get mad.
John Hall

He is a new student who starts high school at Saintfour and befriends the MC. His motives are not yet clear in the beginning.
Aaron Hill

He is the grandson of Miss Hill and the leader of the Black Dragons. He is shown as being honest and loyal to his friends and loved ones.
Cherry

Cherry is the best friend and second in command in the Black Dragons. He comes off as flirty towards the MC and Stephanie.
Masked Man

He is a Circus owner who previously used to be one of the best Mask Makers in town until his workshop caught fire one day. He was left with severe burns and uses a mask to cover them. When he gets lonely, he makes masks to put on people and turn them into weirdos.

Candy Nelson
Candy is MC's friend in Saintfour High School. She is friendly and caring but often doesn't speak her mind, keeping some secrets to herself. The level of friendship the MC has with her depends on the choices you make throughout the story. She previously dated Luke before she meets MC. Her mother is the mayor's assistant. Later on, she moves away from Saintfour.
Bobby Turner
Bobby is one of MC's classmates, they become friends later on. He is keen on learning, which makes him almost direct opposites with his older brother Michael. They don't get along very well. He has a special interest in rare flowers. In the present day, he had moved away from Saintfour.
Adele Morring
She is the sister of Luke and considered a popular and mean girl at school. She dated Michael for a short time until the MC moved to town.
Steve
He is a senior student and is mostly a bully. He claims to be friends with Michael.
Sam
Sam was a former Saintfour High School student and was the quarterback of the school team. He previously dated Candy before and lived with his stepfather and his mom. He was good friends with Luke.
Masked Man's circus
Muzzle Muncher
He is the youngest member of the circus and keeps a photo of his family in his pocket. He admits the Masked Man turned him into a weirdo because he sinned. When he was human, he robbed graves and didn't give his family any money and they starved to death. He goes on to say everyone forgot who they are, but him.
Jozzie
She is a member of the circus and loyal to the Masked Man.
Mary and Dary
They are a member of the circus and conjoined twins. They are shown as fighting with each other constantly.
Mr. Eric
He is a member of the circus and has no limbs. He rolls around on the floor.
Atlatonin
She was a temporary member of the circus until she took off her mask.
Other residents of Saintfour
Sheriff Jonathan Nixon
He is the father of Derek Nixon and the Sheriff who investigates in Saintfour, he is the boss at the police station. He later shows interest in MC's mom.
Miss Baker
She is a teacher at Saintfour High School. She is mostly mean to her students. She lived a long time in Saintfour, but only started teaching at Saintfour High School in the summer of 1986.
Eleanor Hill
She is the grandmother of Aaron Hill and was best friends with Stephanie's grandmother. She runs an antique shop.
Sam's Stepfather
He is known to drink a lot and act aggressively. Sam and him don't get along.
Janitor
The janitor at Saintfour High School often sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. The students think that he is a weird man and find him creepy. His actions and dialogue imply that he may be mentally ill.
Mrs. Nelson
She is Candy's mother. She is the mayor's assistant.
Pisada Ayra (Pisadeira)
She is the entity that haunts Saintfour in Season 1. It is later revealed her only regret and why she can't move on.
The Forester
He lives in the cabin in the woods temporarily until the end of Season 1. His wife and his daughter were victims in 1976 to P.
Ethan
He is the twin brother of Cherry and works in the Museum. He hates when his brother comes anywhere near him.
Brown
A member of the Black Dragons.
The Faun
A demon that steals the life force of children and serves as the villain of Season 2.
Annette
She is the sister of William, best friend of Ayra, and ex-lover of the Masked Man. She was burned alive at the stake for false statements of witchcraft. She is shown in flashbacks.
