Samuel Makoto (original name Setsuo Makoto) is a love interest in the book Chasing You. He also made a cameo appearance in the book Heaven's Secret.

About Samuel

Samuel, at the beginning of the book, works as a local policeman and as an assistant to Detective Goodman. He meets Agatha (main character) in Episode 2 when the investigation into the death of her Aunt Annett begins. He soon believes that she is innocent and begins to develop feelings for her. Although Sam has mixed feelings towards Alexander, the two and Agatha end up becoming an inseparable trio.

Before Sam became a police officer, he was a street racer. A tragedy involving a horrible car accident (Note: You can check out this scene in Season 1, Episode 5 of the book Heaven's Secret), made him change his mind and he decides to go to the other side of the law to try to save lives. In Season 2, he becomes a private investigator of his own agency.

If the player decides to do the diamond scene in Season 1, Episode 4, he admits he doesn't know how to feel about the relationship between Alexander and Agatha. And in the diamond scene of Season 1, Episode 6, Sam says he doesn't want to come between the two and demands that Agatha clarify her relationship with Alexander before proceeding to a more intimate scene.

If you choose to have a close relationship with him, you discover that Samuel is a caring and considerate young man. He always brings food, notices when you're cold and when your head hurts. He says he's paying for the sins of the past, when he was rude and selfish with the girl he liked. Sam admits he's constantly drawn to taking care of you, and you're one of the people who should be treated properly (Season 2, Episode 1).
