About Paulina[]

Paulina is the youngest daughter of the Lanista Cassius Flavius, the owner of a gladiatorial school.

Rix and Paulina first meet briefly in Season 1, Episode 2, when Rix is brought to Cassius Flavius' villa. If Rix looks at her during the first meeting he gets the impression she is shy and out of place in this world ruled by violence and power.

In Episode 4, you have a chance to go on an evening walk with Paulina. During this evening walk, if you ask her about her sister Augusta, Paulina seems to suggest that the two don't have a good relationship.

On multiple occasions Paulina exhibits her disagreement with using force against the gladiators. She feels empathy for them and believes her father's tactics are inhumane.

In Season 3, Episode 4, Rix discovers information on all of the people in their group. For Paulina, they describe her as: An overlooked leader. Despite her position, she tries sincerely to work for the good of all. Displays frequent attempts at rivalry with her older sister. Natural naivety and overextension interfere with the realization of her ambitions.

If Rix does not defeat the Pontifex: it is implied she dies.
If Rix defeats the Pontifex:
