Orvon is a love interest in the book Gladiator Chronicles.
About Orvon[]
Orvon is Rix's best friend on Planet Paitrum. He was born into the family of a prominent figure in the Trade Confederation and he moved to Planet Paitrum a few years ago from Planet Liis, a planet covered in ice. He isn't very athletically inclined and has struggled with adjusting to the climate on Paitrum.
After the attack on Paitrum, both Orvon and Rix were taken and found themselves prisoners at a slave market where they met Afiy. Cassius Flavius found them there and decided to take all three on as Gladiators.
While Orvon is shown to be naive about things, his social skills and likeability help him make friends with the other gladiators quickly. Orvon confesses to Rix that he feels weak because he has always felt safe, and that he does not feel prepared for the gladiator life. Rix agrees to help protect him.
In Season 3, Episode 4, Rix discovers information on all of the people in their group. For Orvon, they describe him as: Demonstrates significant success in personal growth. His lack of leadership qualities does not bother him. Demonstrates an extreme degree of discipline and greatly trusts a number of people.

However, the activities of the Confederation began to quickly collapse when New Rome started to interfere, and Orvon's family came to Paitrum searching for new markets. Orvon had a hard time moving away from his home planet, which was very different from hot and sandy Paitrum. [1]

Possible endings[]
- If Rix does not defeat the Pontifex: it is implied he dies.
- If Rix defeats the Pontifex:
- Romance path: Orvon tells Rix that he doesn't like big, crowded cities and would prefer to go somewhere a little quieter, like his home planet. Rix tells him that as long as they are together, he doesn't mind where they are so the two of them go back to Liis together.
- Otherwise: He returns to Liis and becomes a professional mercenary.
