This page lists the characters appearing in the book On Thin Ice, however very minor characters that have minimal bearing on the story have been omitted from this list.
Main Characters
Catherine Hill
(Main Character: You, the player)Catherine was a famous figure skater who is struggling after her career collapses from a tragic mistake at the World Championship. That accident injured her and her partner, Tom, changing their lives forever.
Brian Baker
(Potential Love Interest)Brian is an affectionate and sympathetic person who loves to create art. He meets Main Character (MC) while on her way to see the psychologist. She was surprised when he gave her a picture he drew of her.
Hodge Baker
(Potential Love Interest)Hodge is a good-looking man in his thirties. An ardent businessman. He comes from a rich and powerful family. He meets the MC for the first time at the hotel when she bumps into him on her way out. Later, she finds out Hodge is Brian's brother.
Liz Taylor
(Potential Love Interest)Liz is a tough, hardheaded young woman who knows how to get what she wants. She has been a figure skating since childhood. Later you find out the Main Character (MC) was the one who inspired her to start skating.
Tate Marshall
(Potential Love Interest)Tate is a fellow figure skater who practices at the ice skating rink that MC often goes to. He is currently training for the Olympics. He recognizes MC, even idolizes her a little and even encourages her to keep skating.
Dominic Warren
(Potential Love Interest)Dom is a cocky and reckless guy from Seattle that moved to New York where works as an assistant to Hodge. The death of a beloved when he was about nineteen made him turn off his feelings and emotions.
Other Characters
Naomi
Naomi is one of MC's friends and co-worker. Though she is one of MC’s closest friends, she also likes to talk and gossip a lot which sometimes bothers MC. She describes Naomi as “A good friend but sometimes she is such a pain.”
Andrew
Andrew works at the ice skating rink that MC often goes to. Because of how frequently they see each other, MC has become very close with him and he even sees her as someone like a daughter to him. Now Andrew is someone who MC relies on when she feels like she needs comfort.
Stefan
He goes to the same university as MC. But you only meet him in the last episode of the book and if you choose the free option on the single path.
