Noe Lokid is a possible love interest for Lale/Laia, the main character you play as in the book Dracula: A Love Story. Despite being introduced in the story in Season 1, Episode 6, his first romantic scene is in Season 2, Episode 10. At the moment of writing we are not sure yet if Noe is an endgame or a casual LI.
Please note: this book is ongoing so this page is constantly updated as we learn more about this character.
About Noe[]
Noe Lokid appears as a character in two different dimensions: as a human in present-day Romania and the United States, and as a Master of Illusions in the Dark World dimension. He is a trickster by nature with a penchant for theatrics. Growing among humans and losing parents affected him and turned into a cynic, not believing in love nor friendship. Although his domains are illusions and tricks, or maybe because of it, he strives to uncover people’s ugly secrets, undermining their faith and principles.
If Laia keeps a close relationship with him in Season 2, Noe shows glimpses of honesty and warmth that could lead to a romantic relationship or remain on a friendly level. Please note that if you are pursuing a relationship with Vlad, Leo/Aslan or Sandra, romantic options/scenes with Noe might not be available to you.
Present-day Laia, the main character you play as in this book, meets Noe in Romania, when he arrives at Vlad's castle pretending to be Vlad's old friend from theater school. Later, in season 1, episode 12, he confirms the supernatural suspicions about Vlad through a colorful story about a strict and powerful king, once ruling over bloodthirsty Carpathian spirits, revealing his own hurt from the loss of a friend. Despite their falling out, Noe helped Vlad, providing him with a human mask to meet MC.
In Season 2, Episode 10’s diamond scene, Noe explains to MC the workings of the Dark dimension run by a rigid hierarchy and reveals his past. His family lived among mortals, in late thirteenth-century Florence. One night, when Noe was about ten years old, his parents invited human guests, scientists and scholars, for a friendly feast. Young Noe felt they are not worthy to dine with demons and locked himself in his chamber, anable to help when he heard his parent's last screams. His parents were betrayed by their human friends, namely Cecilio. Young and orphaned Noe was sent to his maternal grandfather, Aditum Procul who hated his son in law for thwarting the great plants he had for his daughter. Despite the fact that demon children were looked down upon, Procul tried to shape him in his image, luring him with powerful artefacts, like the one Karnivan used against Vlad in season 2 finale. Later, Noe testified against Karnivan, accusing him of the murder.
After their tragic death, the family house with a beautiful garden became Noe’s safe place kept locked in a time capsule, a spell he learnt from his father. Despite his cynicism, Noe asked Lastville’s priest to hold prayer for his beloved parents, since his demonic nature didn’t allow him to do it himself.
Growing up among mortals Noe became accustomed to human traditions and way of thinking, for which he was tasked to consecrate Vlad into rules and mysteries of dark ones. At first, he considered him just a puny human but Vlad’s good heart, strength, and equal treatment of his mortal and supernatural subjects fascinated Noe. Soon, the two became close friends.
Noe is considered young in terms of immortals and is somewhere in the middle of the hierarchy, which doesn’t allow him to see events beyond a certain line.
In Season 3 the death of his grandfather, Procul, forces Noe to make a decision about taking over his position. Even though Noe does hesitate initially, by Season 3 Episode 10 he informs Vlad and Laia he will be leaving for the Dark World to fill his late grandfather's spot.
The story is ongoing.
