Mona is a love interest in The One Volume 1.
About Mona[]
Mona is the seventh contestant Chloe meets on The One. She has recently discovered her adventurous side and wants to keep traveling the world.
Mona describes herself a world traveler, culture sponge and horrible dancer on six continents. She can't pick a favorite country and no longer ranks cities because she loves them all, but when asked about it, she remembers one time when she was in West Africa as part of a mobile humanitarian hospital and one night a tribe treated them to a ceremonial dance to show their gratitude. She still remembers the drums and chants resonating in her core. Before that moment she really didn't want to dance or be in the spotlight but she stood up and started dancing with them and instantly her body knew the moves like she had danced them all her life, fueled by raw energy and emotion. That moment made her feel one with humanity and the universe.
She tells you she hasn't always been as free spirited as you see her now.
In Volume 1, episode 4, Mona confesses to Chloe that she has an illness that causes her to have bad days.
In Episode 6, she takes a lie detector test. She wanted to be happy when she grew up. She has never been in love before. She says she does not want kids but the lie detector beeps, she shrugs and amends that it isn't part of her plan. Her dream wedding would be signing the papers at a courthouse and then flying to Goa during Holi where they would run through the streets in their white dresses. If you go with her to the snow cabin she tells Chloe about how fairness is very important to her and that a lot of things in life are unfair.
in Episode 8, her spa date consists of relaxing in the pool with aromatherapy crystals. Unfortunately, Mona hasn't been getting much sleep lately but she doesn't tell Chloe why.
If you decide to eliminate her at the end of episode 8 you can choose to reveal her secret: "I'm dying." She has cervical cancer and stopped going to treatments because of her fear of hospitals. MC has the opportunity to save her if she marries her, eliminates her in Episode 6 but agrees to keep in touch, or eliminates her in Episode 8 and unlocks her alternative ending.

- Chloe calls her a 'human rainbow' and Mona likes that.

Possible Endings[]
- Mona and MC get married. Mona goes to get her treatments and gets better. Their honeymoon is spent running through the streets of Goa during Holi in their white dresses.
- If MC eliminates Mona in Episode 8, she can decide to reject the last two contestants and reunite with Mona in a café. Mona will agree to go back to the hospital for treatments.
- If MC eliminates Mona in Episode 6 but agrees to keep in touch with her, they show MC supporting her friend during cancer treatments.
- Eliminated from the show.
