Mermaid is a minor love interest in the book Sails in the Fog.

About Mermaid[]

Mermaid is a light spirit, the spirit of white magic and keeper of the glade. She can only be pursued on the path of white magic. She was once a human who took a deal in exchange for immortality. She admits to not remembering her previous life or why she took it in the first place.

She will come to Adelaide's aid no matter what the situation is and even offers her a deal to become a mermaid. She has the chance to reject, which makes the mermaid happy or accept her offer. If she accepts the offer mermaid tells her she will view the world differently. She will hear the call of the sea and one day won't be able to fight the urge anymore and head to the ocean. She will leave behind everyone she loves and eventually will forget them.

Upon meeting she comes off as calm and seductive. Adelaide will have multiple chances to seduce her and vice versa for mermaid since it is only a dream.

Adelaide: She guides her on the path of white magic and has the option to seduce her.
Manta: She is his friend and was worried about losing him.

Possible endings[]

Path of White Magic: If you chose to become a mermaid in Season 3 Episode 10, Adelaide will begin to feel the call of the sea until she can no longer resist the call. She meets the mermaid out at sea, and vows to watch and guide her family from afar.
Mermaid will sacrifice herself in the final battle, but can be brought back to life if you have enough White Magic points.
