Marco is a casual love interest in the book W: Time Catcher.
About Marco
Marco is an Other, a warlock, who owns a store at the beginning of the book. Nova (main character) meets him in an alley, where he was harassed by an Ordinary woman who claimed he sold her a cream which gave her a rash. She was convinced he spiked it to make the life of the Ordinaries more difficult. You can choose to intervene by pretending to be a Magisterium officer to help him, which makes him grateful, or leave the saving to Onyx.
In Season 2, Episode 11, Nova meets him again at Werner's shelter, which also works like a hospital for Others as Werner is an herbalist. If you did not choose to save Marco from the mob, he does not recognize her, but is polite. If you decided to help him, he will be friendly and flirt a little with her. If Nova is not in a relationship, she can return Marco’s advances and meet him in his room, where they catch up and you can decide to have sex with him or not.
If Nova goes to his room, you find out that Marco recently moved into Werner's shelter, after he had to shut down the store - the money became tight, so he had to trade a rented apartment for a room in a shelter. But he doesn't complain about that and thinks the situation is perfect, since Werner doesn’t charge him as long as Marco helps him with the patients.
During the chat, Marco makes his interest in Nova very clear. And if you choose to have sex with him, Nova shows that she is attracted to him as well and thinks to herself that she just wants a good distraction, to forget about missions and dangers and have some fun. She believes that they both have nothing to lose, so they agree to have a fling without expectations and with freedom. What Nova wants is to feel desired, and Marco does exactly that.
Nova feels like it's unnecessary to involve Marco in what's going on in her life. But she leaves a future meeting open, saying that she will be visiting Renato, who is recovering in the same shelter. Marco says it works for him.
