Loki is a love interest in the book Path of the Valkyrie.

About Loki[]

Loki is one of the deity members of the Aesir tribe, living in Asgard alongside the likes of Odin, king of the Aesir gods, and Thor, god of Thunder. He has a reputation for being a sly thief. He is a cunning trickster who has the ability to change his shape and sex.

With the female giant Angerboda, Loki produced the progeny Hel, the goddess of death; Jörmungand, the serpent that surrounds the world; and Fenrir, the wolf.

Considered as the God of mischief, the reason for his misdeeds are neither pure good nor pure evil since his intention was always to create chaos. In the story, he often shows his wily side and his mischievous sense of humour. He also seems to be egotistic, self-absorbed, and sometimes selfish. Nevertheless, Loki starts warming up to Liv, a human who is later revealed to be a valkyrie, and develops feelings for her.

After Loki, Liv and their group of friends arrive at the tower in Season 2, Sagr confronts Loki and accuses him of betraying them and having ulterior motives. After a quick fight, Loki escapes. Odin accuses him of attempting to cause Ragnarok in order to open the gate of Hel. After appearing in Liv's dream, Loki confirms that he wants to open the gate and create his own world.
