Most choices you make for the Main Character in this book influence the following variables: 💥 Passion (expressive and more temperamental), ❄️️ Coldness (discreet and well-composed) and 🔥 Amber Fox (fire-based magic) and ✨ Pearl Fox (illusion-based magic).

PLEASE NOTE: choices that have no significant effect on the plot (as in, no effect on game points and statistics) or that do not give interesting information on characters or backstories might have not been included in the walkthroughs.

Premium choices that require in-game currency to be unlocked are marked by a 💎 diamond symbol. Quick choices that are timed are marked by a ⏰ timer symbol.

Path of Passion 💥: Mei emotionally tells him about how Mistress Chiko was no longer human but a monster, and whoever was behind this also killed Lady Sumiko and her mother. Mei wonders if she can find out if Mei is her name or her mother's. She insists that the gatekeeper will pay for what happened and that she can't just endure, huddle in a corner, and cry over her fate. She stands no chance by herself and needs the help of the clan.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei tells him she can't shelter in the village or anywhere else because, wherever she settled, she would spend every day afraid of being found. Kazu says that she doesn't even want to try. She replies that after a while of this fearful existence, she would kill herself. She insists that this is not a temporary problem and that the murder of loved ones can't go unpunished. She can't do it by herself, and her hope is the clan's help.

Path of Passion 💥: Mei argues that if public execution spectators saw something else instead more often, like examples of valor and dedication, or at least they didn't show that, things would be different. Satoshi advises her to be quieter with such words, as the authorities don't appreciate them and the very people that are being deprived will drag her to the scaffold. She believes he has a point. Masamune thinks that there is a grain of truth in her words, and Satoshi agrees.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei argues that public execution spectators are what they were taught to be, and if there were an acrobatic troupe performing on the next street, many would go to watch, so to judge something like this, you need to know whether there was a choice. She tells Satoshi that she's not making excuses or being poetic, but darkness is the absence of light, and maybe he should think about why it's missing. He jokes that she could easily make a monk doubt his faith, which Kazu smiles at.
