Most choices you make for the Main Character in this book influence the following variables: 💥 Passion (expressive and more temperamental), ❄️️ Coldness (discreet and well-composed) and 🔥 Amber Fox (fire-based magic) and ✨ Pearl Fox (illusion-based magic).

PLEASE NOTE: choices that have no significant effect on the plot (as in, no effect on game points and statistics) or that do not give interesting information on characters or backstories might have not been included in the walkthroughs.

Premium choices that require in-game currency to be unlocked are marked by a 💎 diamond symbol. Quick choices that are timed are marked by a ⏰ timer symbol.

On the eve of your initiation as a geisha, you discover a supernatural secret that changes everything. Now, you’re on the run, and not only from humans.

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: This chapter shows ‘mizuage’ ritual; a ritual of deflowering a virgin geisha by a man who wins the bidding. The player has no option to avoid this part, we are only given a choice between two handsome young men. The intimate act is described in a very delicate way, without pornographic contents, and the act is later interrupted.

They were discussing a patron who didn't want to meet with a geisha from Mei's okiya because she also might be a witch. One of them didn't trust the okiya anymore. She nervously adjusted to the thought that she was accused of murder and witchcraft, helped a Shinobi escape, and now was heading toward their clan village, and that every day brought her closer to a death sentence.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei took a few deep breaths, trying not to show that she was afraid. She managed to remain calm and even smile. She told Kazu that there were many rumors about the ninja. He simply nodded. Having finally pulled herself together, she concluded uncertainly that if he wanted to kill her, he probably wouldn't be leading her to his clan.

She decided she wouldn't give up, and she'd make it through this.

Path scene: Mei ponders how to respond to Kazu's offer to take her to her village at the end of the previous episode.

Path of Passion 💥: Mei thinks that this is not an offer one simply refuses and that if she says that this isn't why she's here, then she'll have to come up with a plausible alternative, and she can't do that right now. She briefly considers that this might be divine intervention. She decides not to oppose her circumstances and remains quiet.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei wonders if she will be able to reach the village by herself. She thinks it might take her a month or a couple of years. Her conscience was telling her that it was his initiative, and to refuse would be foolish and rude. She decides not to give him a reason to reconsider and remains silent.

Path scene: Chongan notices that Mei looks like she is saying goodbye to the village and asks whether she liked it there.

Path of Passion 💥: Mei waves her hands and says that, of course, she liked it there because it's very interesting and picturesque. But she doesn't want to wait until she's asked to leave. Chongan raises his eyebrows, but she stops him, saying that she made up her mind. She rubs the invisible mark on her left palm, then tells him that out there is her past, and if she doesn't deal with it as soon as possible, it will come back to haunt her.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei says that she liked it very much there as she was well-received, but she doesn't wish to impose on her hosts, and she needs to learn to live on her own. To do that, she needs to understand what dangers are concealed by the darkness of her past because she doesn't have a lantern to reveal them. Chongan praises how she expresses her thoughts and her mentors, who taught her well. She corrects him by mentioning that there was only one mentor and that her name was Sumiko, and she is no more. He tells her to remember that beneath the feet of the one carrying the lantern, it is always dark.

She starts arguing with a tea merchant over a small sum of coins, and the angry voices catch Gotou's attention. He recognizes her as a kitsune and muses that she is an empty-headed geisha who didn't think to dress less obviously and that she was running out of money, and her bargaining is how she gets caught. He follows her when she walks away. She follows their planned route, occasionally glancing behind her in a small mirror, and assures herself that they are close to the planned destination. When Masamune and the yokai fight and she thinks that her magic doesn't affect him, she decides that he won't get away that easily.
Path of Coldness ❄️: Mei points out the armed man to Masamune. She pretends to almost run into Gotou and gives him an icy, annoyed look as she tells him to be more careful, then she indifferently walks on. He recognizes her as a kitsune and thinks that she ran out of food and that she is an empty-headed geisha, and that's why she came to the nearest market to the city guards. He follows her after she purchases tea. She passes by a patrol of guards with a perfectly calm expression. Turning onto another street, she looks behind her with a small mirror. She tells herself to stay calm to avoid transforming and that Masamune is here and everything is going well. When Masamune and the yokai fight and she thinks that her magic doesn't affect him, she determines that she needs to pull herself together.
