Kazu is a love interest in the book "Legend of the Willow". Kazu is a ninja - a Shinobi - and a contract killer. He first appeared at Season 1, episode 1 as a criminal who is taken to execution.

Note: Romancing Kazu requires a certain amount of diamonds (see the below of this wiki) and you can't miss out his diamond scenes in the earlier chapters.

About Kazu[]

At the beginning of the story, Kazu was captured and taken to execution by a samurai who believed he was one of the gang members of Jiro the Crooked. To avoid his true identity being discovered, Kazu remained a prisoner and waited for a chance to escape. Kazu met Mei (default name of the MC - Main character) on the journey back to the city for execution. When Mei transformed into a Kitsune, she sought help from the most unexpected person - prisoner Kazu. In return, she helped him escape from the prison. After spending time together in the journey back to Kazu's village, they bonded and formed a deeper relationship. You could choose romantic options with him or stay friendly.

In Season 2 and Season 3, Kazu and Mei continue to work together to find the Ryoge mastermind.

Personality[]

Kazu is a handsome young man and secretive man with a gentle soul. He felt obligated to protect Mei because she saved his life. As a ninja, Kazu doesn't speak much unless he's required to. He admitted he killed more people than he can remember. He is more comfortable to show his humorous side around people closer to him especially his old friend Takao and Mei.

Kazu likes to be around Mei and admires her courage. Also, he is a considerate man and is not judgemental when he found out Mei's true identity.

Relationships[]

Mei (default name of the MC - Main character) - Friends and possible love interest. Their relationship revolves mutual trust and respect. He gives her freedom and choices during their romance journey.
Takao - Close friends, like brothers. Kazu is the only one (beside Grandpa Chongan) who could speak against Takao.
Masamune - At first Kazu was wary of him but eventually they become quite close due to Mei and out of respect toward each other.
Grandpa Chongan - Fellow member of the clan.
Satoshi - Fellow member of the clan.
Hong - Fellow member of the clan.
Azumi - Fellow member of the clan. Azumi harbored unrequited feelings toward Kazu that contributed to her hostility towards Mei.
Shino-Odori - A yokai who lives in the forest near the ninja's clan. In the beginning Kazu doesn't seem to care about her but they become friends when they travel to Capital together.

If Mei chooses not to become empress and she's in a romantic relationship with Kazu, the pair return to the Naito clan where they continue to live together.

If the player doesn’t have enough skill points; Kazu will step in to help and sacrifices himself.
