John Hall is an antagonist in Season 2 and a love interest in the book Shadows of Saintfour.
About John Hall
John's original name is William. He lived between the 17th and 18th century with his mother and sister Annette. His mother would tell them stories about the Faun. One day, when William returned home, he found out his sister gave their mother herbs to kill her. Annette tried to explain their mother was sick and asked for them. He refused to believe her and wouldn't speak for her for years after her passing.
He was familiar with Pisadeira and The Masked Man. After the death of his mother, he teamed up with them against Annette but later regretted it. They all became cursed after watching her burn at the stake. Now every ten years, he "woke up" and hunted for children to sacrifice to the Faun with whom he had a deal with just so he could see his mother again.
He introduces himself as John Hall to the MC pretending to be a new student that just recently moved there with his mother. When asked questions, he is very evasive with his answers.
If the player decides to pursue him. He will show them his favorite spot in Saintfour and even feel conflicted during their interactions slowly growing to love the player.
