Heaven's Secret 2 is the 29th book released on the mobile game Romance Club. This book was released on December 28, 2022, has three seasons, and was completed on March 13, 2024. This book is a sequel and it's written by Alisa C. (also known as Alice), who also wrote Shadows of Saintfour, Heaven's Secret, Arcanum and is currently writing And the Haze Will Take Us.

Plot Summary

"I died and ended up in the world of angels and demons. Immortality gave me power and might, but a force is coming that will take everything from me. I thought I had reached the end of my path, but it turned out to be only the beginning."

The plot of this book takes place 10 years after the ending of Heaven's Secret, but you don't need to have read it to play Heaven's Secret 2. However, it is recommended that you complete the first book before starting its sequel to completely immerse yourself in this universe.

NOTE: Your plot in this book will be affected by your playthrough in HS1. But in case you restart HS1 while playing HS2 as long as you don't restart HS2 it won't change your current game.

Gameplay features

Most choices you make for your Main Character in this book influence one of the following variables: Composure 🧘‍♀️ (self-control, rationality and adaptability) or Temper 🤯 (short temper, sensibility and impulsiveness). Your choices can also influence Strength 💪 points which will allow you to more readily endure difficulties, fight for truth, and win the favor of other characters. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.

  • Facts from the beginning of the episodes:
    • S1, Ep1: Many of Heaven's flying islands have been set aside for agricultural purposes.
    • S1, Ep2: The immortals’ clothes feature a special design: there are slits on the back for the wings, as well as buttons to facilitate the dressing process.
    • S1, Ep3: Because the school is connected to Earth’s time, students age during their education. That is why only young mortals are accepted into the Angels and Demons Academy.
    • S1, Ep4: Immortals can control their body temperature, their pain threshold, and dull the sensations of hunger and thirst.
    • S1, Ep5: Some devices can suppress the abilities of immortals, making them similar to ordinary people.
    • S1, Ep6: Immortals can see someone's memories through their eyes. Careless intrusions can deliberately or accidentally ruin fragments of a memory, like scratching a film.

  • The “Strength” stat will allow you to more readily endure difficulties, fight for truth, and win the favor of other characters.
  • The “Composure” stat implies balance and self-control but also a certain degree of cruelty.
  • The “Temper” stat implies a short temper but also empathy toward others.
  • It's best to focus on only one stat: Temper or Composure.

  • The Heaven’s Secret universe has several planes: the World of the Mortals, the World of Immortals, Nonexistence, and the plane the Horsemen of the Apocalypse came from.
  • There are at least five languages in the Heaven’s Secret universe: Old Angelic, Demonic, the language of darkness, the language of Heaven, and Common language.
  • Old Angelic is considered an extinct language. It was spoken by the first immortals.
  • The Demonic language is spoken by the inhabitants of Hell.
  • The language of darkness is spoken by Shephamalum, Subantras, Malbonte and some others.
  • The language of Heaven is Latin, which is sometimes used by angels. It’s more common in ancient scriptures.
  • Immortals don’t just dream. Often, these dreams are omens. Some, like Sammy, have a gift for it and always have such dreams.
  • Immortals can wield a variety of powers, but each immortal has a stronger affinity for one or several powers.
  • Satan is a title given to the ruler of Hell.
  • Satan possesses a “poison inventory” that contains every poison in existence.
  • Mimi excels at seduction and manipulation.
  • There's an abandoned train in the vicinity of the Angels and Demons Academy. Some rebellious students brought it back from Earth, wanting to create a cozy hangout.
  • The Earth's Eye is a bowl from which one can observe mortals.
  • In the Heaven's Secret universe, there are many islands with their own internal politics and customs.
  • In Hell's main city, there's a court, Satan's castle, entertainment establishments, lodging, the generals' headquarters, a cemetery, a treasury, and a kennel.
  • The immortals' powers are divided into several categories: elemental, physical and emotional influence, energy, providence, control of animals, and healing.
  • Elemental control is a fairly rare power, but there is a hard upper limit to its development.
  • Powers involving emotional and physical influence are useful for gathering intelligence and among mortals, but their combat applications are limited.
  • Energy is the most common power among immortals, and it comes with a great potential for developing skills that are unavailable to others.
  • Providence is a rare power that is difficult to develop. Experienced seers can summon images from the past, present, and future.
  • Healing abilities are very rare and are the hardest to develop.
  • To deprive someone of powers bestowed by the Serpent-Tempter, their Manjomi tattoo must be burned away, and a new tattoo must be applied over it.
  • If power-suppressing shackles are used to prevent a wound from healing, even immortals can develop lasting scars.
  • Plague's rat can divide into many rats and, with a single bite, turn immortals into puppets that follow the Horsewoman's orders.
  • Plague can show someone past events by touching their forehead.
  • The Order of the Resistance is a secret organization that opposes the Horsemen. It was founded before Plague arrived at the academy.
  • A Stone of Secrets must be implanted under the skin, and then, with the help of spells listing all of the connections, the relevant secrets can be concealed.
  • The military ranks of Satan's army: officer, lieutenant, major, general, field marshal, and supreme commander.
  • The Angels and Demons Academy is located in the territory of the former city of Empyrean, which is now called the Ruined City.
  • The first principal of the Angels and Demons Academy was Nemesis. Her statue is still on the school grounds.
  • According to legend, Silva Island is one of the most ancient places in Heaven.
  • The Metatron River is named after the ancient Seraph who ruled the city of Empyrean.
  • Many-Faced Island is where the images of deceased mortals are kept.
  • Immortals marry exclusively on Amor Island.
  • An island wanders through Hell that is home to the infected patients of Uphir's sanatorium.
  • Originally, the Valley of Death was known as the Valley of Light. But everything changed with the Horseman of Death’s first arrival.
  • The Mother of Life is the physical embodiment of the Universe itself.
