This page lists the characters appearing in the book Heart of Trespia, however very minor characters that have minimal bearing on the story have been omitted from this list.
Main Character[]
Ellaire

Ellaire Gwenhevare Methildis Ymeri is the newly appointed Queen of the Kingdom of Trespia. The story begins on her coronation day: troubled by the sight of a crowd of unhappy people under her window as she is proclaimed, Ellaire decides to leave the palace in secret to find out the truth about how hard life actually is in her kingdom.
Most choices you make for the Main Character in this book influence four variables: Compassion 💘, Rationality 🎯, Influence 🔥 and Assets 💰. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.

Delias

Delias is Ellaire's loyal chambermaid and friend. She embroiders a handkerchief for King Ozer of Shaadha, because she is of Shaadhan descent.
Wyatt

Wyatt is Ellaire's childhood friend and his appointed Queensguard. This means that he has sworn an oath to always protect her. This oath also entails a vow of celibacy, as having a family would interfere with his role as the Queen's most trusted bodyguard.
Gisella

Gisella is the leader of a group of bandits roaming the Redbark Forest. She meets Ellaire and Wyatt when the two fall into a trap she had set up in the forest. While she is used to rob the nobles, she uses the silvers she obtains to help feed the people of the nearby villages, who are starving due to high taxes set by Earl Reinhold and the frequent incursion from the Xaelian soldiers into Redbark Forest.

Earl Reinhold of Piel is a monarch who rules over the Trespian province of Coral Ridge. He is described as being the most powerful nobleman in Trespia, only second to Duke Osmont, Ellaire's uncle.
Reinhold's men spare no violence towards the inhabitant of the local village Ivydale if the expected amount of taxes can't be collected. The Earl takes an interest in Ellaire when he discovers she's a healer, and orders her and Wyatt to remain at his residence, Piel Manor, until she can make an effective sleep remedy to cure his insomnia.
D'Mario

D'Mario is the young King from the Rajahili kingdom. He is still unmarried, so Duke Osmont, Ellaire's uncle, thinks that he would be a worthy suitor for Ellaire as an alliance between Trespia and Rajahili would be very beneficial to the kingdom.
A friendly and gentle soul, if you dance with him in Episode 1, he will ask Ellaire permission to court her.

Princess Vanora is Queen Megaris' daughter and the Crown Princess of Xael. She is one of the eight monarchs that Ellaire needs the support of to vote out the members of the Trespian Council and in Season 3 becomes a possible love interest for Ellaire.
Nobles[]
Duke Osmont
Duke Osmont is Ellaire's uncle and has been the regent of Trespia until the beginning of the story, ruling until Ellaire reached the appropriate age for governing, that in this world is 20 years old.
King Leoric
King Leoric rules over Maith, a kingdom near Trespia.
King Ozer
King Ozer rules over Shaadha, a kingdom near Trespia. If you help Delias gifting him an embroidered handkerchief, he will give her a ring as a sign of gratitude.
Queen Perialla
Queen Perialla rules over Shaadha alongside her husband, King Ozer. Ellaire first meets her at the Grand Summit in Season 3. She is described as being calculating. She is also the reason that Herena, Delias's mother, claims she had to flee Shaadha because Queen Perialla had ordered her execution when she found out about her.
Prince Azzo
Prince Azzo is the son of King Ozer and Queen Perialla. When Ellaire first meets him in Season 3, he appears fascinated by her. If Ellaire is not with D'Mario, Queen Perialla will suggest a marriage between her and Azzo.
Queen Megaris
Queen Megaris rules over Xael. During the Coronation banquet, a maid unsuccessfully tries to kill her and we learn that assassination attempts on her life are common. Xaelian soldiers are currently invading Redbark forest and Ellaire needs to find out why her uncle Osmont is allowing this to happen.
Advisor Zoltan
Advisor Zoltan is one of the three members of the Trespian Council. Their role is to guide the Trespian ruler in all kingdom's matters.
Justicar Vigor
Justicar Vigor is one of the three members of the Trespian Council. Their role is to guide the Trespian ruler in all kingdom's matters.
Treasurer Xavier
Treasurer Xavier is one of the three members of the Trespian Council. Their role is to guide the Trespian ruler in all kingdom's matters.
Lady Christine
Lady Christine is a childhood friend of Earl Reinhold.
Baroness Jenefer
Baroness Jenefer is Lady Christine's mother and a family friend of Earl Reinhold.
Prince Alaric
Prince Alaric is Queen Megaris' son and the Crown Prince of Xael.
Earl Kimon
Earl Kimon is the monarch of Sapphire Vale. He is one of the eight monarchs that Ellaire needs the support of to vote out the members of the Trespian Council.
Countess Nyrie
Countess Nyrie is the monarch of Dewberry Isle. She is one of the eight monarchs that Ellaire needs the support of to vote out the members of the Trespian Council.
Arion
Arion is first seen while Ellaire and her group are traveling in Season 2 Episode 7. He helps the slave traders capture them. It is later discovered in Season 2 Episode 8 that he is Countess Nyrie's son. Ellaire's choices determine whether Arion has a positive attitude towards her or not.

Earl Morsimus is the monarch of the Scarlet Mountains. He is one of the eight monarchs that Ellaire needs the support of to vote out the members of the Trespian Council.
Bandits, Servants and Villagers[]
Taki
Taki is one of the bandits in Gisella's group, and her most loyal and trusted sidekick. A boisterous character, he loses an eye to a Sprite Eagle attack in Episode 2.
Reyna
Reyna is one of the bandits in Gisella's group.
One
A skilled assassin of mysterious origin. He has no name. His master calls him One because he is the first under his command.
Two
A skilled assassin of mysterious origin. She has no name. Her master calls her Two because she is the second under his command.
Caine Greye
Caine is the leader of the mercenary group the Crimson Defiants in Sapphire Vale.
Sarke
Sarke is the Slave Traders' Leader on Dewberry Isle.
Rauf
Rauf is one of the slave traders that works for Sarke on Dewberry Isle.
Hilde
Hilde is a maid at Piel Manor and has known Earl Reinhold since he was a child.
Phaedo
Phaedo used to be Earl Reinhold's right hand man but left the household once he was forced to beat up the villagers for taxes.
Franz
Franz is the housecarl of Earl Kimon in Sapphire Vale at Toth Manor.
Herena
Herena is Delias' mother. She also used to work at the Shaadhan palace before Delias and Herena came to Trespia.
Bianca
Bianca is Katie's mother and a young villager living in Ivydale, in the Coral Ridge province. She is unwell and Ellaire meets her when she tries to heal her.
Katie
Katie is Bianca's daughter and lives in the village of Ivydale, in the Coral Ridge province.
Habbo
Habbo is a baker and lives in the village of Ivydale, in the Coral Ridge province.
Cascio
Cascio owns a herbalist shop in Lunaris.
Mina
Mina is a villager that lives in Hillrun in the Scarlet Mountains.
Sinon
Sinon is a villager that lives in Hillrun in the Scarlet Mountains.
Soldiers and guardsmen[]
Captain Gillot
Captain Gillot is Wyatt's father and the Captain of the Royal Guards. He is not bound by a oath of celibacy because he is not a Kingsguard or Queensguard but oversees all the guards in the palace. He has been preparing Wyatt for his role as Queensguard since he was a child.
Cyril
Cyril is the leader of all the men who work for Earl Reinhold and it's introduced as being only second to him at Piel Manor. Depending on your choices, Ellaire can have a good or bad relationship with him.
Kyrios
Kyrios is one of the soldiers that works for Cyril at Piel Manor.
Guardsman Erwin
Guardsman Erwin is Captain Gillot's right hand man. In S1, Ep5, if you buy the premium outfit 'Ready for Battle' and if you enter the duel with either the Sprite Eagle or Gisella, you will be able to see an extra scene where Erwin befriends you and gives you a coin as a token of his friendship.

Lieutenant Lewin is in charge of the Xaelian soldiers guarding the Xaelian stronghold.

Jeph is the Guard Leader of the Marrot Estate for Countess Nyrie.
Morel d'Adreci
Morel is the former Kingsguard of Trespia for King Owain, Ellaire's late father. After failing to save King Owain from his fate, Morel secluded himself in the Trespian forest and does not seek out Ellaire until after she wins her throne back.
