Griaran is a love interest in the book The Thunderstorms Saga.

About Griaran[]

Griaran is an imperial bard who is famous in the impertial court and has written various ballads and poems.

In Season 1, Tiss first sees Griaran at the tavern where she is supposed to meet up with an Esshai spy. Tiss immediately notices Griaran's shaved head, mentioning how unusual it is. She momentarily enjoys Griaran's beautiful voice and music before leaving the tavern. Tiss and Griaran reunite after Tiss is invited to a gathering by Princess Laimir. It it learned that Griaran is a well known bard in the Empire and has a friendly relationship with the Princess. After Griaran wonders if she had seen Tiss before, Tiss says she has a familiar face and hopes Griaran doesn't remember her in the Tavern with the Esshai spy, but Griaran doesn't mention anything. Griaran shows interest in Tiss, talking to her about the rumors of the dead Empire Lord and other Empire members. Griaran is present during most of the Princesses gatherings, giving the opportunity for her and Tiss to get to know each other.

Tiss: Possible love interest.
Sha’arnez: A dragon rider. They seem to have good relationship and it was hinted in S1Ep9 that Griaran is familiar with Sha’arnez’s grandmother.
Laimir ey Eini: The Princess of Ro’od who often invites her in various imperial events
