Gladiator Chronicles is the 19th book released on the mobile game Romance Club. This book was released in August 2021 and completed in December 2023. The author of this book is Dmitry, who is currently writing Te Amo. This is also the first story where your MC can be male.
Plot Summary[]
A gladiator slave who lost his family has only two paths: to accept his fate, or to become a great warrior who will make space and time, and the New Roman Empire, bow before him. Which path will you choose?

This is a science-fiction book set in an universe where the Roman Empire controls the galaxy. The story follows Rix, a young man from planet Paitrum, whose live is suddenly upended when the Clerics - a powerful group part of the New Rome elite - attack his home and abduct his little sister. Sold as a slave to the Ludus of an influential Roman politician, he begins to train as a gladiator, while also trying to find his sister and fight back against the corrupt New Roman government. The story narrates his struggle to find out the truth about his family and himself, as well as the development of his relationships with those around him, be it love or friendship.

- The events of "Gladiator Chronicles" take place in a fictional world, in which the Roman Empire did not fall but became a power that conquered the entire Earth.
- In the world of the "Chronicles" there are no firearms. Warriors instead make use of traditional gladius swords and modified melee weapons.
- Inhabited Space - common name for planets and galaxies colonized by humans.
- Caesar is the leader of Neo-Rome - a great leader embodying the best traits of previous emperors.
- The Clerical Order - a closed organization, founded before our era. In the past, the clerics served as priests, now the Order consists of elite warriors wielding scarium.
- Paitrum - homeworld of the main character. Situated on the outer rim of the Inhabitated Space, covered by sand.
- Blore - a small planet, where lanista Cassius founded his gladiator school - the Flavian ludus.
- Slavery, being beneficial to the Clerics, is flourishing in Neo-Rome. Rumor has it, they send millions of slaves yearly to the scarium mines.
- Old Earth - a forsaken planet, lacking any resources as a result of the Clerical Order experiments. For years it was believed to be uninhabited.
- Common language, with its dialects based on the planet, is spoken in the Inhabited Space.
- Latin is considered a sacred language and used during ceremonies and rituals. However, that doesn't prevent certain patricians from boasting their knowledge of it.
- Leader of the Clerical Order - the Great Pontifex, whose real name and age are unknown. The Pontifex is Caesar's trusted advisor and his right hand.
- The lanistae control their gladiators using microchips implanted in the back of their heads, which prevent them from disobeying as well as allow for monitoring their vitals.
- Scarium - a precious resource, possessing mysterious properties. The secret to stabilizing it is kept by the Clerical Order, which uses it as a weapon.
