Ghita is the main character you play as in the book The Missing. Her name can be changed at the beginning of the story, or it can stay her default name.
Most choices you make for your Main Character in this book influence one of the following variables: Inference 🧠 (A preference for sticking to facts. You become a more critical investigator and reserved as a person), Perception 👁️ (A preference for the metaphoric. You become a more curious investigator and more engaging as a person), and Seniority 🎖️. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.
Ghita Blom is a young woman who lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and works for the Danish police. After helping crack a high-profile missing persons case, she was promoted to Police Assistant. When the story begins, she is taking on a new case as a lead investigator for the first time.
Ghita has a complicated past - her mentally ill mother left the family when Ghita was four years old. Her father doesn't like to discuss the past and discourages Ghita from looking further into her mother's disappearance. Ghita's mother was never found, but officially declared dead when she was 13.
Dad: Ghita's father. He is the chief surgeon of a hospital and has a strained relationship with his daughter due to the fact that he disapproves of her profession.
Saga: A friend from university. She is studying for her PhD and enjoys reading romance fiction
Jannie: An old friend, she owns a beauty salon. She and Steen are in a relationship.
Steen: An old friend, he owns a carpentry business. He and Jannie are in a relationship.
Commissioner Hoyer: Ghita's former mentor and current boss.
