Plot Summary[]

In this book you play as both Laia Burnell, a present-day fine art restorer, and her past life Lale Hatun, a 15th-century young girl living at the Osmanian Court.
While on holiday in Bucharest, Romania with her sister Millie, Laia is tasked by her boss to pick up some 15th-century Ottoman paintings from a museum. When she touches the paintings, she finds herself travelling back in time to 1444 (and subsequently to 1446 and 1448) to the court of Sultan Murad, in the body of his niece, Lale. There, she witness the relationship between Lale, Vlad and Aslan, who bear a striking resemblance to people Laia has just encountered in her present life.
This will set in motion a series of events that will reveal the existence of many different supernatural forces. With the help of Vlad, Leo, Sandra, a Romanian woman with some secrets of her own, and Noe, Vlad's friend, Laia needs to try and make sense of her own past and of her feelings towards those around her.
This book is still ongoing.

Most choices you make for your Main Character in this book influence one of the following variables: Bravery 🗡️ , Luck 🍀 and Soul Light 💓. These choices change the story, the interactions you have with other characters and the scenes you will be able to play.
Your romantic choices also have a significant impact on the story. If you decide to romance a character, certain scenes/options with other characters will be affected, or not be available. Also, your romantic choices in the present affect the past and vice versa: you cannot romance two different people in the two different timelines.

Tips about paths
- On the Bravery path, the heroine becomes decisive, direct, and self-reliant. On the Luck path, she's considerate, trusting, and eager to accept help.
- You can increase the Bravery and Luck stats at the same time, balancing the MC's personality and allowing you to experience the advantages of both paths.
- The heroine always has Soul Light, but you'll decide whether she develops it or leaves it in its initial state.
Tips about gameplay
- The story takes place in two different time periods; choices made during the heroine's visions of the past can affect the modern day, but not vice versa.
- If a character appears in both time periods, you'll need to improve your relationship in both to get the best result.
- As Lale earns the sultan or the palace's respect, her reputation and trustworthiness improve, allowing her more opportunities and access to information.
- If Lale is highly respected in the palace, she enjoys the benefits of a good reputation and a generous amount of trust.
- If the heroine befriends the cats, they can help her throughout the story.
- You can spend time romancing several characters during the first season to decide which character you prefer.
- If you were pursuing multiple love interests in the first season, you'll have to make up your mind and choose one in the second season.
- In the third season, in addition to all the existing romantic paths, you can also explore new ones.
- When Lale responded to a question from Aslan in the first episode of the story, it affected the way Hasan treated her from then on.
- Love interests appreciate the heroine wearing beautiful clothes, but she doesn't have to. Some characters care much more than others.
- In the fourth season, you can choose to support tradition or rebel against it. You should choose one or the other.
Tips about characters and plot

- While inspired by historical events at the court of Murad II, this story takes many liberties in the interest of providing an entertaining experience.
- During the Middle Ages, marriages between cousins were allowed and were not uncommon among nobility, including that of the Ottoman Empire.
- In the 15th century, "Hatun" was an honorific used for the ladies in the sultan's court. "Valide" and "sultan" came into use under Sultan Suleiman a century later.
- The ages of historical figures such as Vlad Dracula and Şehzade Mehmed were adjusted slightly for the sake of the story.
- The heroine of this story is Lale's reincarnation. While they share the same soul, their personalities differ due to different upbringings in different times.
- Vlad learned about the modern world from Noe while retaining the honor, nobility, and sense of duty to others he developed as a king six centuries ago.
- Leo's childhood hardships made him very driven and resilient. As such, he's risen to an eminent position in his profession at a very young age.
- Everything Noe told the heroine about Vlad when he first met her was a fabrication.
- Although Sandra wasn't born into her current family, she always felt a strong attachment to her mother and is very close with her sister.
- In the second season, you can romance Noe, but only if you are not in a relationship with Vlad. Noe would never stand between his friend and his beloved.
- The city of Lastville is located in the northeastern United States. Founded in the 17th century, Lastville is home to over 16,000 inhabitants.
- The teenagers' fates depend on the state of your relationship with them.
- The dark world conforms to a very strict hierarchy, and our heroine has yet to unravel its many intricacies.
- Lale befriended Aslan after losing her father. Her mother, Aisha, was still alive and approved of this, treating all the palace's inhabitants equally.
- Monuments throughout Albania depict Skanderbeg wearing a mountain goat helmet. According to legend, a goat saved the prince from starvation with her milk.
- Lale is younger than Vlad and Aslan. Vlad is a year and a half older, and Aslan is two years older.
- Noe often skipped classes, but Councillor Septentrion always knew where to look. If he found him with a human girl, he'd lecture them both on the spot.
- The heroine grew up on a ranch with her parents and moved to the city to attend college. Her younger sister joined her later, interested in the local high school.
- Mehmed and Lale are nearly the same age, but the şehzade was born first. Historians know his exact date of birth: March 30th.
- The heroine's behavior towards Agnes will play a role in the future.
- Mica appeared during one of the darkest times of Vlad's life. Mica is not a name: it's a nickname that means "little one" in Romanian.
- Historians attest to Vlad Dracula's execution of the boyars on Easter. Despite allegations of thousands of victims, records indicate there were actually twelve.
- This story takes place during the period when the Hagia Sophia was still a museum. It regained its status as a mosque in June 2020.
