About Eve Sky[]
Eve is the trusted companion of Agatha Harrington.
She never knew her father. Her mother was stabbed in the street while getting medicine for Eve when the girl was only seven years old. Because of that, Eve had to live in an orphanage near Rostock in Germany. After a minor offense, Eve was sent to an asylum for three days as a punishment. When she was ten years old, she escaped the orphanage and was taken in by a gang of thieves. After being useful for a couple of years, the gang sold Eve to a brothel, where she attacked the first person who tried to teach her how to behave and jumped out of a window straight into the Thames. She was saved from drowning by Agatha’s father and taken in as the girl's companion. Because of her rough childhood, Eve used to have nightmares, and Agatha's parents even thought Eve was mute at first. Even the family's servants turned her into a punching bag because she didn’t dare raise her voice in the beginning, but being with Agatha helped building up her confidence.
While they lived together in Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire, the girls started an intimate relationship after reading about female pleasures in a book they stole from the coachman’s wife’s room. After they stopped, Agatha decided to not talk about the nights under the same blanket. Despite that, they remained very close. Eve knows about Agatha's plan to open a detective agency and supports her even in dangerous situations.
