Ellia November is a love interest in the book Chasing You 2.
About Ellia November[]
Ellia is Duke Alexander Clarence's assistant and his friend. He has many connections and skills and says that his service in Her Majesty’s forces has taught him a lot.
Ellia used to be a circus performer with Uncle Figaro's troupe. He was a strongman and took part in pretend fights, pantomimes and human pyramids. One day, his ignited sword set a circus tent on fire, causing his mother and many others to die in the flames. Alexander, who was at the show with his sisters Rachel and Maud, made a hole in the tent to let people out. He also brought Ellia to Chesterfield House after realizing that the man had nowhere to go. Ever since then, Ellia has been trying to repay this debt, saying that he owes Alexander "many lives".
At the beginning of the story, Ellia meets Agatha when she and Alexander start investigatigng the mysterious death of Oscar Willis. He supports their case and doesn't care about laws being broken. Ellia also does a background check on Agatha, always looking out for Alexander and trying to protect him from being exploited for his money. After the case is solved, Alexander offers Agatha and her companion Eve a permanent stay at Chesterfield House, supporting Agatha's desire to become the first female detecive. This prompts Ellia to think that Alexander had finally grown tired of him, and he starts waiting for Alexander to tell him to get out. However, nothing changes and Ellia still gets treated as a friend, which confuses him.
During that time, Figaro approaches Ellia and offers him to get his strongman position back if Ellia manages to bring Alexander to a show and is able to persuade him to invest in the circus. After seeing the performance, Alexander is not convinced that the circus really needs the money but leaves it up to Ellia, who decides against the investment.
