Main Character
Vera

The Main Character (MC) of Elite Tag is called Vera, but the player can change her first name and appearance at the beginning of the book. She is chosen by Mr. Tag to compete in his game along with other players. Her tag name is fritzburger. (It can be changed in Episode 3.)

Emily Wentworth

Emily is the best friend of the MC, she works as a computer programmer. Her tag name is calamariqueen66.
Daniel Biong

Karl McKenzie

Mikayla Loon
Mikayla is on Daniel's team along with her husband Erik. She threatened Karl to not separate them. She is a competitive player.
Erik Loon
Erik is on Daniel's team along with his wife Mikayla. He is a competitive player.
Elite TAG Staff
Mr. Tag
Mr. Tag is a virtual model and the founder of Elite TAG. He doesn't show his real face and uses this as a way to give orders.
Other Characters
Ricky Tran
Ricky is a close friend of the MC and a waiter at the Golden Leo. He met the MC years ago when she studied at the University. She came by the restaurant for food and he gave her advice on the cheapest item on the menu.
Mrs. Tran
Mrs. Tran is the owner of the Golden Leo and the mother of Ricky.
Mr. Donovan
Mr. Donovan is the MC's boss at her workplace, he doesn't like when people are late.
Linda
Linda is the MC's coworker who talks to her about mundane topics.
Mr. Stewart
Mr. Stewart is the CEO of a consulting firm. He plays an actor on TAG for various games and has a crush on Mrs. Tran. He is a potential ally to MC.
Amelia
Amelia is a fan of TAG and later an intern that helps the group.
Shane
Shane is a loan shark who works at True Blue Finance and has been following the MC because she is in debt to them due to her ex-boyfriend Adrian.
Adrian Vance
Adrian is the ex-boyfriend of Vera Fritz. Adrian was a controlling boyfriend and after convincing Vera to buy a house, he borrowed against her inheritance, took out loans, maxed out all the credit cards, and cleaned out every account, leaving her in crippling debt and a mortgage she can't afford.
Corvo
Corvo is the owner of the Crowbar, a grungy bar in Caldale, funded by his parent's money. He used to be close friends with Adrian, who spent a lot of his time at the bar. He has an on and off again relationship with Sledge, and briefly hooked up with Sara Levine before she quit the scene.
Sledge
Sledge is the girlfriend of Corvo, the owner of the Crowbar. She is a former acquaintance of Sara Levine, who she has a grudge against for sleeping with Corvo.
Ulan Wentworth
Ulan is the older brother of Emily Wentworth. He berates Emily for not making the family proud and is overly protective and overly critical of her and her friends. He is a potential ally for MC.
Granny Maple
Granny Maple is the grandmother of Sara Levine and the founder of Maple's Coffee. She has high expectations for Sara and expects her to join the family business. She is a potential ally for MC.
Jim Roberts
Jim Roberts is the father of Corvo and a former financial advisor for Adrian, MC's ex-boyfriend. He is a potential ally for MC.
Noah Beck
Noah Beck is a journalist who works for the Caldale Herald. He is a former friend of Ari, although they are no longer close.
Lennox Geddes
Lennox Geddes is an up-and-coming film director who is interested in making a movie about MC's life.
Nicky
Nicky is Lennox's assistant.
