Edward Cadogan is a character in the book Chasing You.
About Edward
Edward is a rich young British man who the main character meets at the Russian Charity Ball at the beginning of Season 2. He seems callous and stupidly curious, and tries to intimidate Agatha Harris (MC) with some kind of curse.
He has a twin brother, Christopher Cadogan, who has a personality completely opposite to his. His brother is hostile towards him, as Chris dislikes Edward's lack of manners and impulsive attitudes.
In S2, Ep7 you discover that his father, Lucas Cadogan, hated Agatha’s aunt for having indirectly caused an accident that changed his life - and because of that he wanted to get revenge by taking her out of business. At first, Edward pretends that he is against this revenge and says that Christopher is helping his father, and that he will do his best to protect Agatha from them.
Edward then starts following the main character and her allies with the excuse of being worried about her safety. He also starts flirting with Agatha and says that he was the one with her in Skansen at the Walpurgis Night instead of his brother Christopher; according to Edward, he was embarrassed to say it was him that moment because last time they saw each other he said many stupid things.
At the end of the Season 2, it is revealed that in fact Edward who was on his father side and that Christopher was trying to help the main character after discovering their plans. Agatha discovers that Edward hates her aunt because he believes she robbed his father of a normal life. So, he lacked information and started to watch Agatha's steps disguised in Harris’ mansion as Oswald, a flawless errand boy. Then weird things started to happen: the chandelier, the curse, the hotel, the cliff - all was his handwork.
You also discover that Edward lied to Agatha to win her over, pretending to be Christopher to make her trust him. He followed them and understood all the things that could be turned to his advantage. Edward promised protection and wanted Agatha to think he liked her. His goal was to marry her to take her inheritance and business. But he miscalculated his steps. When Edward pushed Agatha off the cliff, something burst inside her, and she made her move to catch the culprits.
In S2, Ep10 after everything is revealed, Agatha ends up accidentally killing one of the twins, with the player deciding which one. Even if you decide to make sure Edward survives, you will only know about him in Season 3 through flashback or mentions in the story. If you have a good relationship with him, you can find out that Edward pity Agatha before his father, and helped Ellia and Eve survive at the end of the story.

- Agatha Harris (MC): They can have a good relationship depending on the player's choices. Their relationship may impact Ellia’s and Eve’s ending.
- Christopher Cadogan: His brother. They are very hostile to each other, but they prefer not to show family relationships in public.
- Lucas Cadogan: His father. At first, Edward agree with his father's revenge, but that could change depending on the player's choices.

Possible endings
In Season 2, Episode 10 you can decide his fate in a ⏰ Timed Choice, so be careful and choose wisely.
- If you shoot the closest twin: Edward survives. But you can only see him again in a flashback of a diamond choice in S3, Ep7 – and depending on your relationship with him his behavior in the scene changes, he can pity you or not - and in a quick flashback of him talking to Dylan in S3, Ep10. In S3, Ep11 your relationship with him also influences whether or not he gives an advantage to Ellia’s and Eve's survival. At the end of the story, Agatha thinks about him, and you can decide if she hopes he answers her letter or if she hopes he will rot in a psychiatric hospital.
- If you shoot the distant twin: Edward dies.
