Dominic Warren is a love interest in the book On Thin Ice.

About Dominic

Dominic works as an assistant/ secretary to Hodge - owner of a night club named "Sirius". He first appeared in Season 1, episode 6, when Catherine (default name of the main character) arrived the club at the first time.

He finds his job exciting, and sometimes even too easy. He boasts that he earns a good salary and has unlimited access to the bar at the night club that Hodge owns.

Family is a sore subject to him. He's from Seattle but moved to New York. He's not close to his family, and he rarely call them, but he sends them money and help his parents and little sister as much as he can every month. According to him, they have different personalities and see life differently. About his first love, Dominic was about nineteen when he first fell in love with his neighbour. Her name was Veronica, Latina and hot-blooded. But the death of his beloved in an accident made him turn off his feelings and emotions, and vowed not to let himself fall in love again.

Obvious to his own sex appeal, Dominic is not only an arrogant, but also an unconcealed and outrageous flirt. The first time he spoke with Catherine was "How come an angel like you honoured us with a visit?" which annoyed Catherine to bit. Despite his devil-may-care demeanour, he's loyal to Hodge to the bone, and willing to catch a bullet for him.

He is cocky and persistent, used to getting what he wanted and hates rejection. In S1, Ep6, Catherine accursed him as "an ill-mannered boor who wasn't taught how to listen and take no for an answer.", somehow her rejection piqued his interest.

If you chose to stand up to yourself, and not mention to Hodge about his previous flirtation. Dominic would be grateful to Catherine and rather protective of her, and defend her with the unwelcome advance from guest. As the story progresses, even if you are not romancing Dominic, he's still becoming a very dear friend to you and cares for you deeply. If you are on his romance route, in a diamond scene, he admitted that he didn't want to lose one more person dear to him - you.

Dominic becomes a very caring and supportive boyfriend if you choose to continue with his pursuit in Seasons 2 and eventally becomes official with you in Season 3. He has always stuck with you through thick and thin.

Please note that if you are pursuing a relationship with the other love interests, romantic options/scenes with Dominic might not be available to you. The better option is to stay single.

Catherine Hill (MC): Friend or possible love interest, depending on the player's choices.
Hodge Baker: His boss. Dominic is loyal to Hodge, and also very intimidated by him especially after the incident with Liz.
Liz Taylor: In S1, Ep7, Dominic mentioned that he shared a happy moment with Liz while she was drunk, at a point she didn't like that and started to attack Dominic. Hodge was so furious he made a move on Liz and blame him alone, that's why he always keep Dominic on a short leash.
Trixie: Younger sister. She lives in Seattle with their parents. He's very protective of her.

Trivia

Tips:

You can help to mend Baker's brother relationship, and improve your authority and mastery without sabotaging Dominic's romance.
Do not take any diamond choice of other's love interests until passing the characters' relationship checks in Season 2 - limited to the minimum free choices if necessary (For Tate, not even the free choices, since he has fewer interactions at the beginning, unless it gives an authority/mastery point).
Some non-romance choices with the others will not affect your chance on Dominic. e.g. be polite to Liz's father, be polite with Hodge (as your employer), care of your friend, save Brian from harm, etc. To make it easier, friendzone Brian in Season 1, Episode 3 (option "A good friend.").
