Dino is a love interest in the book Heaven's Secret and its sequel Heaven's Secret 2.

About Dino

Dino is a natural-born immortal, an angel. At the beginning of the story, he attends some classes with Vicky Walker, the Main Character (MC), at the Angels and Demons Academy. One of their teachers is Dino's father, Fencio. He and Fencio have a complicated relationship. Dino perceives him as a mentor, rather than a loving father. And Fencio tries to control him, but even so, Dino respects him and turns a blind eye to his father's mistakes.

Raised in severity since childhood, Dino studied more than his peers. He is one of the best students at the academy and has been trying to build an impeccable reputation for many years. Dino has worked very hard for so long to get where he is now. However, he admits he didn’t do it for himself, but for his father.

Dino is honest, discerning and has a great sense of justice. He is trustworthy and loyal with the people he likes. Hardworking, he tries to follow all the rules to be perfect at everything and achieve everything his father dreams of. For having this arduous routine, he has no friends and often spends time alone, training and studying. But Dino always tries to be friendly and helpful to everyone and to get the best out of people.

For him, being an angel is difficult because it’s a responsibility and a promise to oneself and others to bring kindness and light into this world. A promise that he always tries to keep.

In a diamond choice of Heaven's Secret 2 (Season 1, Episode 9), you find out about Dino's late mother. Vasaria was a kinder angel and loved the humans. She died when Dino was very young. Fencio loved her as a deity, as something pure and unattainable, and remembers her with great pain as he feels responsible for her death because she was killed by his enemies.

Fencio was a throne who opposed Sonneillon, Austie’s father. There were rumors that Sonneillon was hiding half-breeds when it was still forbidden. Around that time, Fencio raised the issue of removing his title of throne but lost. Sonneillon was furious, and after that Vasaria was found dead. It wasn’t possible to prove his involvement, but Rebecca Walker ended up avenging Fencio many years later, as becoming a Seraph in Sonneillon's place.

Relationships

Vicky Walker (MC): She is an Unclaimed, a classmate, and a possible love interest. At the beginning of the story Dino tries to stay away from the MC due to his father's past with her mother and for trying to focus only on his studies. But later he sees that it's not possible and even if you don't invest in a relationship with him, he still worries about the MC.
Lucifer: He is a demon, and a classmate and a rival. Dino hates how Lucifer relates to his power which was given at birth; and Lucifer thinks Dino is a show-off. In S1, Ep4 of Heaven's Secret Dino says about their relationship: “Lucifer and I are considered to be the best students in the academy, which automatically make us competitors.”
Fencio: His father and mentor. As a loyal son, Dino always trusts and respects him. But he believes that Fencio express his love through hatred. In S2, Ep3 of Heaven's Secret Dino says to Fencio: “The more you love, the more you hate.” (Note: You only see this if you have a close relationship with Dino.)
Leeloo: She is an angel, and a classmate and a friend. She seems to have a crush on him, but he doesn't reciprocate, despite Fencio's attempts. In S2, Ep4 of Heaven's Secret her speech at the banquet to celebrate Christmas is different depending on whether you chose Dino as your main love interest or not.
Rebecca: She is the MC's mother. Dino entered the school when she was graduating. “And I remember the day when my father was shamefully demoted to work here. If I stumble, I’ll break his heart, MC.” (Note: You only see this if you have a close relationship with Dino in S2, Ep2 of Heaven's Secret.)
Fyr: A sea dragon. Dino helps to take care of Fyr, caring of his injuries and hiding him so he won't be sent away from school for his constant fights.

Interesting fact: One day, one of the Unclaimed asked Dino for help, but he refused. Eventually, the Unclaimed was kicked out of the school. Dino felt guilty, and now he's trying to be friendly and helpful to everyone, including the Unclaimed.^[1]
Dino is monogamous and extremely loyal, so be careful with your decisions during the story if you want him to be your main love interest.
He is the first love interest you can make it official in Heaven's Secret (S2, Ep4). If you reject him in this episode, you will no longer have romantic interactions with him in this book. But you will have another chance to romance him in its sequel Heaven's Secret 2 regardless of your choices in the previous book.
During the ball in S1, Ep10 of Heaven's Secret, you have an exclusive scene with Dino if you have a close relationship with him. This scene can have two different beginnings which is influenced by the amulet you picked up in Ep8. If you stole the right amulet, Dino tries to make it clear that there is nothing between him and Leeloo and asks to talk to the MC. If you stole the wrong amulet, the MC asks to talk with Dino, he tries to refuse but Leeloo encourages him, and later he explains that he is worried that Fencio will see them together and that he doesn't want to cause any problems for her. The rest of the dialogue is the same in both situations.
In S2, Ep5 of Heaven's Secret, if you take Dino with you to free Bont you discover that Dino's special power is "pure energy". In S1, Ep1 of Heaven's Secret 2, if you take the diamond choice to remember him you find out that he also can heal a little, as the extent of his abilities.
If Dino is your love interest in S3, Ep5 of Heaven's Secret and you talk to him in Malbonte's camp, you find out that he likes to practice meditation at school. He learned a particular practice from a shaman on Earth. Meditation helps him to calm down and find himself. This helps him restrain the evil building up inside him.
MC about her relationship with Dino: “An angel and an Unclaimed. Was our union really sinful? Was it that wrong? It felt right and pure to me. I felt happy falling asleep on Dino’s chest. And feeling happy is never wrong.” (HS - S3, Ep9)
If you practice fighting with Dino in Heaven's Secret 2 (Diamond scene - S1, Ep5) he tells you that his father taught him how to fight strategically, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent.
During the ball in S1, Ep7 of Heaven's Secret 2, you ask Dino how he and Fencio are doing. He tells you that he is trying to understand and accept his father. Dino hopes you understand him and not hold grudges. He confesses that he tried to act like a bad guy, but that he's not good at it. If your relationship isn't close enough, he doesn't even dare talk to you.
He is an excellent fighter and a conscientious immortal.
He is strong, persistent, and able to keep up with the conversation.
He is a masterful negotiator. He is calm and amiable, but his tenacious gaze makes other parties wary about crossing the line.
