Delias is a love interest in the book Heart of Trespia.

About Delias

She's an eighteen year old chambermaid of Shaadhan descent. MC promises to grant her a title and make her a Queen’s Lady-in-waiting, so they can always be side by side without repercussions.

She hoped to meet the Shaadhan king one day.

Prior to Queen’s coronation, Delias sewed a handkerchief for King Ozer, from scraps of fine silk, combining the Trespian and Shaadhan embroidery. MC can offer to give it to him in her name, delighting the king with the thoughtful gift. As a token of gratitude, he gives her a ring with a rare lilac crystal found in the Unresting Sea, called "Ring of Unspoken Tales“, which MC hands to Delias.

MC and Delias part ways in Ep1 and reunite under dire circumstances later in Ep4, when she is found unconscious and poisoned in the river near Gisella's bandit’s camp. MC saves her life, treating her from a snake bite thanks to her medicinal knowledge.

In return Delias saves MC's life in Ep7, when she's the only one to identify symptoms of Demon Rosemary poisoning and quickly mixing up the remedy.

Delias became a castle chambermaid when she was 14. Her mother brought her there from Shaadha. Since then, she seldom got to see her mother, and she purposely kept her mother out of any conversations, even with Ellaire.

She’s kind, humble and little clumsy, with a charming child-like laugh.

In Season 2, episode 13, Delias' true purpose is finally revealed along with her mother's. Delias' mother, Herena, has lost favor with the Shaadhan king and decides to win it back by stealing The Trespian Handbook and the Heart of Trespia and bringing them back to him. Delias secures a job at the castle at 14 but after meeting Ellaire and developing a close relationship with her, Delias is unable to go through with the plan. Ellaire, shocked and a little hurt, does understand the difficult position she was in and decides to forgive her.

After Delias and Ellaire are reunited at D'Mario's palace, Herena attacks Ellaire and reveals Delias is King Ozer's daughter because of an affair between Herena and the king. Herena had to flee Shaada after she found out she was pregnant because the Queen was planning to kill her. When Ellaire confronts Delias about this, Delias admits that it is true but she does not want the life of a princess after seeing the toll it took on Ellaire's life.

Delias continues on with Ellaire and the rest of the group to get the rest of the petitions from the other monarchs in Trespia. In Season 3, Episode 1, they have accomplished their goal and Delias is back in the Trespian palace with Ellaire. This time, not as a chambermaid, but as an equal. Regardless, Delias still insists on being by Ellaire's side and has not made any move to reveal her identity to King Ozer.

Delias' love and loyalty for Ellaire keeps her by the queen's side throughout Season 3, helping her day to day and accompanying her to the Grand Summit. It appears Delias is starting to gain more confidence and, after the Grand Summit, Ellaire discovers that Delias contacted King Ozer to inform him of her lineage but is concerned because she has not heard back from him. Unfortunately, When they arrive in Maith they discover King Ozer was attacked by Xael soldiers and did not survive. Delias, distraught, blames herself for waiting so long to tell him the truth but Ellaire finds out that King Ozer had a plan.

Possible Endings

• Romance path if you encouraged Delias in S3, Ep15: Four years later and Delias's training to be Queen of Shaadha still isn't finished. Delias decides to abdicate and immediately races straight back to Trespia to be with Ellaire.
• Romance path if you let her decide for herself in S3, Ep15: Delias is a Shaadhan Princess and happily lives in Trespia with Ellaire. The council continues raising the question of an heir but Ellaire is unconcerned.
• Friendship path if you encouraged Delias in S3, Ep15: Delias writes to Ellaire constantly. She expresses unhappiness living in Shaadha and training to be queen. Ellaire suggests that Delias follow her heart but she has not made a decision yet.
• Friendship path if you let her decide for herself or your bond wasn't strong enough in S3, Ep15: Delias has been actively going between Shaadha and Trespia, both to fulfill her duties as a Shaadhan Princess and her role as Ellaire's friend. The constant traveling is hard but Delias is willing to go through it to be with her friend.
