David Tarino is a love interest in the book My Hollywood Story.

About David[]

David is one of Hollywood's most renowned film directors. Emma (MC) is a big fan of him. The first film we see him working on is 'Dream City'. He appears for the first time in Season 1, Episode 2.

A few years ago, David was dating a girl. They were going to get married, they loved each other so much. At least Tarino thought so... But just a couple of months before the wedding, his fiancée ran away with a handsome cook from a restaurant where they would often have dinner. For David, it was a heart-breaking moment. For several years, he couldn't eat anywhere except his home. So he learned how to cook, and eventually, he started to like it. That case influenced his attitude towards women, making the director jealous and distrustful.^[1]

Personality[]

David always finds himself struggling with expressing his feeling towards other people, especially Emma; he reveals this vulnerability to her at several scenes within the story. You can choose to reciprocate his feelings or remain friends with him.

David is not a very easy person to get along with, as he has a bad temper. Accordingly to Samantha in the diamond scene, David is a terribly jealous and possessive person, he wants his lover to have eyes only for him. He broke up with all his girlfriends because of jealousy.
