About Dave[]

Dave is Mina's Geology professor. They started a secret relationship after she seduced him.

Dave Collins takes Mina and a few of her classmates on an expedition to the Eastern European country of Belovakia, to study a rare mineral called Karzonite. After the group takes shelter in an old castle, they accidentally awake something evil. When a pack of wolves attacks his students, Dave tries to fight them off and gets hurt in the process. Mina consoles him which doesn't go unnoticed by her classmates, making their relationship public.

Depending on the player's choices, Dave can either be on the path of light or darkness.

On the path of light, he confesses that he belongs to an ancient lineage of vampire hunters and that the members of his family have been fighting dark creatures for generations. They are mostly African shamans who were converted by a puritan named Cain. He actually wanted Mina and her friends to find the castle because his plan was to find its crypt and destroy the vampire. After the monster shows itself to the group, he attacks it with an ancient dagger. This path is the default one for Dave.
On the path of darkness, Dave explains that he found out the truth about the vampire after extensive research. It started to came to him through his dreams and showed him what was hidden from ordinary people. They made a deal and for his services, the vampire offered to grant Dave immortality. This path depends on Tony and Sue - if they don't accept the dark side, both of them are dead or just one of them is dead but the other doesn't accept the dark side, Dave is revealed to be on the dark path.
