Charles Turner

Charles is a love interest in the book Seduced by the Rhythm. He's also the leader of a dance group named "The Dark Wolves".

About Charles[]

Charles is an old friend of MC (Main character, default name - Michelle). They met at dancing school. He often calls Michelle his "marmoset".

Charles had a huge fight with his parents over the dancing during the teenage year, then he disappeared without a trace and left her alone in town. He told her in the diamond scene (S1, EP3) that he realized that without Michelle, he had nothing. When he came back to town and tried to find her months later, Michelle had already left town, leaving without address and contact number. When they met in the bar, he believes that fate brings them together.

Charles mentioned that he has a little sister, and his family is living happily, he doesn't think he'll ever fit into his family anymore. He met Zach when he first arrived in town, and they became best friends ever since, so Charles decided to stay in San Francisco. They formed a dance group called "The Dark Wolves" and Charles is the choreographer.

"I've never seen anyone better than him (as a leader). He motivates the crew; he teaches us not only moves and routines. He shows us that we're more than a dance crew. We're a family." - Zack (Season 1, Episode 4)

In Season 1, Episode 5, he confessed to Michelle that he still loves her and regretted letting her go. You get the option to sleep with him in that chapter and rekindle their relationship in the later chapters in Season 1.

Charles is a loving, caring, and sweet guy. His main problem is that his sincerity and naivety sometimes do not play to his advantage. His feelings for Michelle are most real and everlasting. Even after years, he still considers the time with her the best period in his life. And even if Michelle chooses another lover, he will still be happy for her and wish her only the best. He will always be here for her and lend her his shoulder to cry on. (By the writer ^[1])

The story about the white dress: When they walked in the summer evening and soaked in the rain, she went to Charles' place to dry her clothes, but her father arrived earlier. Michelle took Charles' jacket and totally forgot her white dress, Charles has kept it as a memento ever since.

Charles was in love with Michelle in his youth, but he did not allow himself to go further than kissing on the cheek. He had several girlfriends, but none of them could melt his heart. Desperate, Charles decided to postpone love affairs indefinitely and devote himself to dancing and volunteering.
