Brandon is a love interest in the book Seduced by the Rhythm. He's also one of the members of the dance group (default name: Hot Gladiators).

About Brandon

Brandon's father was a big businessman and a philanthropist. Brandon kept refusing his inheritance because he wanted to devote himself to dancing.

In his youth, Brandon was an exemplary student. He had a lot of friends and loved to get good grades. Everything went downhill after his father's suicide. He isolated himself from the outer world, got friends that were a bad influence for him which sabotage the relationship with his mother. Dancing is the only way he could escape this world for a short period of time and balance himself. ^[1]

During Season 1 and 2, Brandon and his team members tried to work together with Michelle to win the dancing competition.

In Season 3, Brandon becomes a very important character. We learned that he gave up his dancing career and turn to be a very successful businessman and tried to help Michelle bringing back the team together.

Brandon is a flirty, cynical, and sarcastic person, who hides his pain behind a joke. He loves to give nicknames to others, sometimes calls MC "cutie" and Justin "Teddy bear". Hiro mentioned that Brandon is too hot-tempered to lead the team (Season 1, Episode 2).

Brandon was never in a serious relationship, only seeks hook-ups for pleasure (preferably blonde), sex means nothing to him. "He is a player." (Hiro, S1, Ep4). He mentions in the diamond scene at S1, EP6 that a serious relationship is not part of his planning right after having sex with MC. And he promised her not to tell anyone about their fling.

He adopts quite a hostile attitude towards MC in the early chapter of Season 1. You can improve the relationship with him through different choices and diamonds (see below "Interaction with Brandon").

Writer's quote: Brandon is one of those people whose heart is almost impossible to melt. He is incredulous, stubborn, a boy with questions. He considered emotional connection is more crucial than a physical one. Before her, he doesn't agree love exists. ^[2]

In Season 3, after witnessing the cost of his vengeance, Brandon became less hostile but a very doting and supportive friend to Michelle. And a change of heart about "commitment": "It's about proving your love, loyalty, and understanding." (S3, EP7)

Story behind his pendant

Brandon's pendant

Brandon's parents were wealthy people; however, money did not occupy an important place in their life. For them, the most important thing is harmony, happiness, and mutual understanding in the family. However, the father and the boy had a special connection. Much deeper than with the mother. Brandon was the long-awaited and only child. The father paid him utmost attention than was required but tried not to make a spoiled child out of him. When the boy was 5 years old, dad gave him the pendant. For Brandon - it was a special gift since no toy or clothes can replace the value that his dearest man gave him. He never takes it off, and even after the death of his father, he still left the pendant with him, as a reminder of the good things in his life. Brandon intentionally gives away the pendant to MC. The conversation after his betrayal encouraged the guy to do such an act. He was sincerely sorry, especially for her. He did not want to leave her alone, so he gave away what would always remind her of him. ^[3]

Brandon's scheme on Season 2

After Brandon left the team, he met a blonde woman who is the provider (producer) of the European Dancing Competition which his old team takes part in. He discovered that this woman did something to sabotage the American team in order to let the European team wins. He bumped into Hiro and explained the situation, Hiro agreed to help him by passing information and leaving the Icy Hearts at the right time. On Season 2, Episode 10, if you choose the 💎23 diamond scene. You will learn that Brandon slept with the blonde provider in order to find the evidence. He showed their secretly recorded video on the big screen: Brandon asked her: "Who do you think will win?" The provider said the American team never had any chance to win. She admitted it she got a task that will prevent the Americans from winning. She hired a person who wound himself into their favor (Gustavo). And she hired people who put fake votes for them. "

Hiro's POV (Season 2 Episode 9)

When Hiro fell off the stairs and got injured, he thought his dance career was over. And everyone forgot about him, visited him like one time, and then disappeared. He was so depressed. But Brandon came to him every day, supporting him. He knows what Brandon did for revenge. Brandon told him everything and was so remorseful. He was slowly going insane with all those revenge plans, so he took the wrong path. Luckily, he realized it and began fixing his misdeeds. He supported Hiro, paid his hospital bills, helped him to leave for Europe, and start anew. "Why did he leave us?" you asked. Hiro said he is sorry that other people were hurt in that situation, both morally and physically. Revenge wasn't his only reason to leave. Brandon was tired, he couldn't do it anymore.

Relationships

Michelle (Main character): From enemy to friend to lover (depends on your choices). She is different from others he had dated; she brings out many emotions from him. He feels deeply regretful for what he did to her, however, he realizes that is no other way. They become best friend or lover on Season 3.
Justin: From best friend to enemy. Brandon and Justin were longtime friends. They shared their passion for dancing. He asked Justin to be his dancing partner so that he could be more confident in the audition to enter an elite dancing school. Justin began to date one of his competitors notwithstanding Brandon's protest. The girl named Isabelle deliberately sabotaged his chance by inviting Justin to sleep over the night before the audition. She got the spot at the academy and dumped Justin after all. Brandon lost the chance of his lifetime. He sought revenge on Justin ever since. Towards the end of Season 2, they made peace with each other.
Hiro: A friend Brandon trusts. During the hospital accident, Brandon visited Hiro in the hospital and apologized for his mistake. Hiro believed in him, and they became partners in crime, literally. (Please see "Hiro's POV" on this page to learn more about their relationship.)
Isabelle: She is the girl who dated Justin and got into Brandon's spot at the academy. Member of the Icy Hearts.
Molly: Michelle's little sister. If you have a close relationship with Brandon, Molly and Brandon stayed in touch while Michelle left for New York and Europe, they remain friendly.
Parents: Brandon seldom talks about his parents. During some of the scenes, we learn that Brandon adored and worshipped his father. He's now following his father's footsteps to be a businessman and philanthropist.
Henry: His loyal assistance. Brandon met him in a stripper VIP club.
Vivian: His friend, an FBI agent. She rejected Brandon's flirtation.

- Your life? What are your plans for the future? He laughed and said life's unpredictable. He doesn't know what the future holds for him, and he doesn't want to make any plans just to be disappointed down the road. What about dancing? He said this will soon be over for him.
- What do you think of me? What do you want from me? You told him that he taunted you at first, then had sex, then he told you he didn't want a relationship. And after that, he suddenly missing you. You're so confused. He said he can't say he's in love with you. Don't get him wrong. But he said you're not like the others. You're special, and it draws you to him. And it's complicated. He keeps thinking about you ever since that night. It's very weird for a guy like him. He said he can't be with you either. Soon you will get your answers.

- What are you doing in Seattle? He bought a new car dealership. It was the opening party today. It was so exhausting, and he decided to take a break. When they saw each other in the street, he was being taken to his hotel. The hotel turned out to be right next to this establishment. He was surprised to see you so decided to crush the party. Fate brought them together, he said.

What gender did Brandon and Michelle have a baby? They will be having a baby boy.
What did Brandon give Molly? Opening the box, Molly found a note with an invitation to an art gallery. If you are in the route with Brandon, in addition there will be a pendant identical to the one he gave Michelle. With only one token and gray.
Why did Brandon only participate in the final dance as an organizer, but did not dance himself? Because he had a desire to help Michelle, but not return to the team.

How to get Brandon on Season 3?

Always have a good relationship with him. See below how to boost the relationship.
If you're single after Season 1, stay loyal to him. Important note: If you chose any romance option with Hiro or Orlando during Season 2, Brandon would learn that and not get in your way for good (Season 2, Episode 10).
If you're currently dating the four main love interests (Justin, Claire, Carlos, Charles), also chose any romance option with Hiro/ Orlando during Season 2, choose to be single on Season 2, Episode 8.
If you're loyal to the four main love interests (Justin, Claire, Carlos, Charles) and do not engage with Hiro/ Orlando. You will be offering a chance to break-up with them and to be single on S2 EP8. (We still don't know if you could end up with Brandon after the break-up, please free feel to let us know.)
Being able to achieve any of the above, Brandon will bid farewell to you at the end of EP10 and you will get the reunion diamond scene with him on Season 3 Episode 1.
