Augusta is a love interest in the book Gladiator Chronicles.

About Augusta[]

Augusta is the oldest daughter of the Lanista Cassius Flavius, the owner of a gladiatorial school.

Rix and Augusta first meet briefly in Season 1, Episode 2, when Rix is brought to Cassius Flavius' villa.

When her brother, Labelle, was named deputy in the arena by their father, Augusta was visibly disappointed. It's clear there is conflict there.

Augusta is shown to be much better at handling political functions than her siblings, bringing attention upon herself in order to take it away from Paulina and Labelle when they're visibly uncomfortable despite their strained relationship.

In Season 3, Episode 4, Rix discovers information on all of the people in their group. For Augusta, they describe her as: A distinctive leader, able to fade into the background and lead from the shadows. Calculating, cold, responds to provocation with restraint. Capable of murder.

Possible endings[]

If Rix does not defeat the Pontifex: it is implied she dies.
If Rix defeats the Pontifex:
- Romance path: Labelle abdicates the position of Caesar to Augusta so he can travel the galaxy. Augusta vows to be a decisive and tough ruler who doesn't fear drastic changes or hard decisions. She tells Rix that the position truly belongs to him.
- Otherwise: Not mentioned.
