Astaroth is a love interest in the book Heaven's Secret 2.
About Astaroth
Astaroth is a half-breed (half angel half demon) and have a twin brother, Christopher. The main character (Vicky Walker) meets the brothers for the first time in the main hall of the Angels and Demons Academy in S1, Ep3 and wonders how half-breeds can exist with this age. In the next episode, the MC can ask them some questions and find out that they were forced to hide in Hell before the Law of Segregation was abolished; their father moved them from place to place.
As children, Astaroth and his brother dreamed of coming to the Academy. They imagined going to lessons, developing their abilities, and flying freely between the islands. For a long time, Astaroth hated Hell since they couldn't leave there. And he also hated all the immortals for their freedom and for being in Shepha’s good graces – as he deprived them of his love. He and his brother never went to school. They were trained by other demons, and this is a topic Astaroth doesn't like to discuss.
Although Astaroth is a half-breed, his demoniac side is stronger. He doesn't care what people think of him or whether his actions are right or wrong. Astaroth has no expectations for the future, which makes him immune of the epidemic of fear. At first, him and Christopher don’t look too friendly and have an arrogant behavior. Apparently, they demonstrate to be faithful followers of the horsewoman Plague - she was the one who found them and invited them to the Academy. They don't care that people consider her a monster because they were considered that way too.
If you take his diamond scene in S1, Ep9 you discover more details about their background story. Their father was from the Far Lands and was an ordinary lower-rank angel, who plowed the dirt and did hard labor. He fell in love with a demoness, who gave birth to his children and left for fear of Shepha’s punishment. But Shepha still found their parents and sent them to Earth. However, their father managed to hide Astaroth and Christopher with a demon who protected some half-breeds as a service. For some reason the demon agreed to take them in, saying they were special and still had a part to play.
When Astaroth and Christopher grew up and the Law of Segregation was abolished, they were still afraid to go out because they would be persecuted as they were still considered outsiders. In a diamond scene of S2, Ep4 Astaroth tells the MC that after the law was repealed, they flew to the Citadel disguised as other immortals, hiding their wings. They were delighted because everything was new and unknown. And then Astaroth saw the MC, an ordinary mortal who rose so high, standing on a balcony looking at the square. Their eyes met but she looked away dismissively like Astaroth was a bug. He confesses he hated her at that moment, but at the same time he wanted her so that he could stop feeling like a bug lost in the crowd.
In S2, Ep8 you have to choose your end-game love interest. If you choose Astaroth, the MC finally finds the courage to admit her attraction to him and decides to stop trying to push him away. In the following episode, Astaroth starts helping the Order of the Resistance because of the MC and his brother Christopher, who escaped after opening the seal as he didn’t want to be a part of that anymore. If you take the diamond scene of S2, Ep9 he explains to the MC why he initially sided with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and what made him change sides, and they have their first kiss.
In a diamond choice of S3, Ep3 Astaroth tell you about the Catacombs and his past. The Catacombs are an endless underground maze, but they weren’t always. At first, the place was and enormous mass grave, where demons dumped the bodies of those killed in the first war between angels and demons. Now it’s a vast underground city with its own inhabitants. Most people live in the poor areas – the outlaws, like half-breeds and fugitives. In the rich areas live those who are close to Moloch, the unofficial ruler of the Catacombs.
Astaroth and Christopher grew up in the Catacombs, without seeing the rest of the world for a long time. But they got accustomed to it and took it for granted. They dug new passages, repaired houses, and carried water, like all half-breeds that were often sent to do hard labor to earn a living. But Sonneillon took the strongest half-breeds under his wing, so he ended up choosing Astaroth and Christopher and taught them. One day, he introduced them to Torendo, who told Astaroth that he and his brother would have to open the seals for the Horsemen.
In this same episode, Astaroth meets his brother again and asked why he didn't return before. Christopher confesses that it was because he thought Astaroth was still on the Horsemen's side.
If Astaroth is your love interest and you accept Rebecca's invitation to spend a family time with her and Winchesto in S3, Ep6 you discover that Astaroth’s love for the MC had made him softer while the cruelty and hardship he experienced tempered him, stripping away what remained of his arrogance and immaturity.
Relationships
- Vicky Walker (MC): She is a possible love interest. At first, they treat each other in an arrogant way. Astaroth, like several other immortals, asks for Vicky as a toy in S1, Ep4. Later you can find out why he feels so much desire to make her his property. It is up to the player to decide how this relationship will develop.
- Christopher: He is his twin brother. They are protective of each other, but Astaroth appears to misunderstand some of Christopher's compassionate attitudes.
- Plague: She is a Horsewoman of the Apocalypse. At first, Astaroth is her faithful follower and is grateful that she found him and his brother in Hell and took them to the Academy.
- Sonneillon: He is a Throne and Austie's father. Sonneillon took Astaroth and Christopher under his wing before the Law of Segregation was abolished.

- Astaroth can kiss and touch without making a sound.
- He can be very diligent.
- As a half-breed, he has an unusual and rare power. His energy, concealing both light and darkness within it is strange and compelling to angels and demons.
- In S3, Ep8 if you married Astaroth, Christopher reveals that his brother once told him that no immortal would ever drag him down the aisle. And he thanks the MC because he has never seen Astaroth so happy and obedient.
- In a diamond scene of S3, Ep9 Astaroth tells the MC that Sonneillon trained him and Christopher, that she definitely doesn't need to worry about him during battle.
