About Ash[]

A wanderer encountered in the desert, Ash doesn't travel beyond Egypt's borders. He can tell that Eva is a shesmu, and tells her that the day they met will be one to remember.

Ash later reveals to Eva that he is Set, the Egyptian god of rage and war and the patron of shesmu. Eva was promised to him as repayment of a debt by her mother, but as of this writing it is unknown what the debt was or what the promise entails. As a child he heeded Eva's calls for help and dealt with the man who was harassing her.

He has a dual personality, with the ability to be charming and charismatic if needed. He is also extremely confident and self assured, and kind to those in his favor. But on the other hand, he also has a fierce anger that can turn destructive if out of control, and cruel to those who fall out of his favor.
